Hi there everyone,
Apologies for the lack of videos recently, I have been taking some time out with my family for the holidays.
I hope you have all had a fantastic festive break and I hope that 2024 brings you much good fortune & a few nice watches along the way!
In today's video we are taking a look at the Aussie watch brand - BAUSELE.
Bausele has a rather unique set of watches & this Mil-Spec Diver version is, in. my opinion anyway, the crown jewel of their collection. Styled with a rugged, military look this IP-coated watch houses a Sellita SW200 Swiss automatic movement. The case has a black IP coating providing a dull tone for operations & superluminova lume dial which provides fantastic low-light visibility.
The dial is protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal which has FIVE...yes that'd FIVE layers of anti-reflective coating to enhance legibility.
In addition to the tan/beige para strap, the watch also comes with a rubber strap with quick-release pins so swapping out the straps is simple & drilled lugs on the case make regular strap changes easy as well.
One unique feature of this watch is that the crown has a small recess which is filled with dirt from a US military installation...so if you are overseas on ops, then you can have a piece of home with you at all times which is a nice touch.
Overall, this watch is great value for money @ $1,400 USD. If you are interested in grabbing one then please visit Christo & the team using the links at the top of the description.
Thanks again for watching & hope to see you in a new video soon!
Cheers,
Al

It’s nice looking for sure. It’s a bit outside my price range, but since I am a fan of Australia (the only country outside of the US I could see myself living in) and the US Military, I wish them the best.

My earlier comment got deleted? Anway, why does a brand that Says that they are "intensely Australian" apparently make a watch in the USA and have USA on the dial, and 1775? It's all very strange.

You are right, all our watches have an element from Australia in the crown usually but for this particular model, we partnered with US veterans to design the watch and it is assembled by veterans in the US, it was only fitting that in that model we would put soil from Fort Campbell where US troups are trained to pay tribute to the veterans that helped us on this project. A very rare limited edition...now back to the element of Australia for all other models:)

Love it BUT mine has several QC issues (misaligned bezel with huge back play, dust/dirt particles on the inside of the crystal, when opened the case back I was shocked seeing dirt particles all over the place, dial and case body do have gaps between them: sent them photos and a video!). I'm waiting for almost a month now to resolve the issues. They have been silent for three weeks now, even via WhatsApp no response from Christophe despite the fact he even read my WhatsApp message. Honestly, I don't get it! 😡

It's OK but over priced in my opinion. It's simply not worth 1400 by any stretch of the imagination

We can agree to disagree :) If you are Sydney, let's catch up so you can feel one for yourself and compare them to the similar brands that my suppliers manufacture that all cost at least 2/3 times more...
