Having been born and raised in Valencia, Carabobo myself I thank you for this truly awesome video and for explaining "La batalla de Carabobo" in in the english language. Well excecuted and quality video, I love history now and having you make this video with similar level of details and quality to thr likes of HistoryMarche and Kings and Generals but about the new world truly made my day.
Don't often see such well made videos about the Hispanic Wars of independence. All for it.
I absolutely love the way the visuals, music, and of course the story seamlessly blends together... bravo Henry, bravo!!!

I must express my utmost admiration for the astonishing quality of this video! It took me by surprise with its remarkable craftsmanship and attention to detail. However, as I watched it with my girlfriend, we both noticed that the pace was a tad too swift for her taste. To ensure that this superb content resonates with a broader audience, including non-fluent English speakers, I recommend incorporating a slightly slower narration and adjusting the animation speed accordingly. Perhaps extending the video by approximately two minutes would allow for a more immersive experience. Your dedication to excellence is truly commendable! Greetings from Germany, we both eagerly await your next masterpiece.

Thanks so much! I'll bear that in mind! :)
Excellent history and animation. Loved the 3D maps as well. Great mix of the strategic situation and of the tactical moves during the battle. Would love to see more on Bolivar's campaigns - supposedly, the Venezuelans fought something like 2,000 battles against the Spanish during their wars of independence.

Can't believe someone sat down to make this fabulous account of the Battle of Carabobo. As a Venezuelan I can only but thank you for your magnificent video. Even me, as a history fan, reader of "Venezuela Heroica" by Eduardo Blanco and equipped with Google Earth, I could not clearly define the layout and actions of that date except very roughly. Just to add a bit of anecdote to this, General Manuel Cedeño was called "El Bravo de los Bravos" by Bolivar, translating as "The Brave of the Braves". If you check his history, you will see he saw so much action during the darkest and bloodiest years of the war, against the infamous Boves and his hordes.
I have always been fascinated by how Spain came to face Napoleon and the Latin American rebels at the same time for several years. And how after expelling Napoleon's troops that had destroyed their country, they managed to face the Latin American rebels for another decade. Truly Spain is one of the great warring nations in history.♥️🇪🇸

The victory was attained by the expeditionary British Legion. Bolívar came out his foxhole at the last moment. Independence was gained finally in the battle of the Maracaibo Lake when Capt Padilla, a black Colombian Capt blasted out and sunk the Spanish fleet forcing his way through the "Barra". The Spaniards now unarmed surrendered and their last few commanders fled to cuba.
Amazing video! Glad to see the Latin American Wars of Independence getting some attention. I hope we'll see more videos of covering the other battles.

Hi Diego, Ayacucho will be my next video :)
Another fantastic video. It's truly interesting that Spain had to fight other conflicts abroad despite that Joseph Bonaparte (alongside his brother Napoleon) had almost conquered their homeland & capital during the Peninsular Wars early on. To me, the Venezuelan War of Independence was one of the final nails in the coffin for the Golden Empire's influence outside of Spain and the rise of the US in the Western hemisphere.

¿Cuando subes el video de la batalla de Junin?
One correction on a name: it's 'Ferrier', not 'Farriar' (Colonel Thomas Ilderton Ferrier), although I've seen it spelled a third way, 'Ferriar', in Venezuela (possibly because it's a more natural pronunciation for Spanish speakers...?).
