Hey Turin, just getting into this game. I’ve watched a few of your videos and have learned quite a lot you do a pretty solid job of vocalizing your current and next play. Awesome vids I’ll have to catch a stream sometime 🫡

Hey Turin! I find it useful with IX to capture nodeless territories and build things like maintenance centers or military bases on it. Such buildings don't suffer from the penalty. Great gameplay. Looking forward for more awesome Dune Spice Wars matches.

Vern early angro Is insane. The fighting mechs dominate other infantry early game with the damage increase and tether bonus. Cuz it counts as tethered if it’s in adjacent tether territory. You just have to strong Ecco. Triple Choam computer gives you 60 solar combined with the servo damage buff you can whack down a close neighbor where as later they fall off and rely on assassination

Not only are you one of the few who make Dune content, but you also make it fun!

I would love it if they changed the EMP Bomb for Vernius to an Anti Emp Shield which you could only use preventively. They never use the EMP, you want the enemy to have Mechs for the Backdoor. Feel like this could give them a bit of an Edge for Late Game Scraps.

Lots of sweatiness on this desert planet. Love it.

This game is both awesome to play, and surprisingly entertaining to watch, given how long the games are.

If you kept that mothership alive you could've teleported in and decapped faster, also. Some great plays and some blunders too, that's how it shakes out.

Feeling like Vernius gameplay involves staying in 3rd position, proping up an ally in second or first position, let others smack your ally or the first, and in the last sprint, assassinate you last concurrence lol

Hi Turin, i'm not 100% sure, but, at 3:15:10 you put all your units on a safe zone to prevent the worm attack. I think IX drones are immune to worms though. Like harvesters.

I don't think you HAVE to stick to leaving towns that you don't plan to put a neural net in as raid targets. it's a 50% penalty, sure, but there's other things you can do around that. Missiles, Listening posts, airfields for just three unless these suffer a 50% penalty which would be weird for airfields

I would probably skim the 200 standing early and always put at least 1 vote on "for the people" for the bonus to standing even if it doesn't win. I would grab early analitic machines and put them on enemies since they can't be captured for the intel generation. It lets you keep spamming operations and rewards you with intel if you get the operation that gives 1 knowledge per unit fighting.

I agree lol. I tried to get him to let me live, but he wasn't having any of it. I just didn't have a good way to not seem like a big threat. I think he should of left me alive, but with low health incase I got gov. but then I could of helped with Turin.

I feel like abandoning a village to prevent an assassination that would otherwise complete is a bit too strong, maybe the cell should migrate to a neighboring territory belonging to that faction (if any exists).

What do you think about casting the other games, even if you aren't playing?

Hard to do as there is not a spectator feature like in Total War and AoE.

Can't Vernius harvest spice from any unclaimed spice node? There were a few for almost the whole game I feel like Turin could have mined them?
