That fact that almost every effect you saw on this car was a real effect and not CGI has actually blown me away. What an inspired job they did for this Batmobile. I wish it was in Arkham Knight

Agreed. Easily the coolest take on the Batmobile.
It's hard to not see the Batmobile as a character. It's been so distinct in every iteration of Batman, but nearly all of them have become iconic. All of them match the tone of the movie and the version of Batman extremely well. They outdid themselves on this one. I know a lot of it is fake, with lights and flames, but it did feel like a breathing monster coming to life, relentless in getting the Penguin. They obviously spared no expense but it made for the best sequence in the entire movie without a doubt.

I hate it. It's clunky. And I despise that they have painted dirt on the side. This whole video is a real hard sale
@breadmaster6984

@@user-zr1wc6ky1r The whole point of it is that it's clunky, strong, and scary. The paint is obvious as he has been building it in the batcave for quite some time, so it won't be polished. Plus we both know that Bruce wouldn't care about polishing a car he's going to use to ram other cars.
I love the simplicity of this version! Even its silhouette looks badass! Possibly the most batman looking batmobile we've seen for a while!

The dark night bat mobile is amazing tho
Reminds me of a beefed up nascar. Love that it looks real and not too high tech. Really gives it the ability for Bruce to add stuff later to that car.
That front end, that rear end, that side profile, those meaty tires. This Batmobile build is incredible. Excited to see how Matt uses it in The Batman 2.
Favorite scene was the intro of the Batmobile, with the devilish red glow slowly getting brighter with the snarl of the V8 coupled with the turbine spooling up. Never has a vehicle intro looked so badass.
This car truly is a masterpiece. The V8 growl and brutal violence threatened by the front aesthetics has a Mad Max vibe. Yet the cleaner, angular lines at the rear are a tease to the 1966 original Batmobile. Bravo! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Long Live The Bat #BatmanDay
Honestly one of the coolest batmobiles and it fit perfectly in this film.

The smile on the driver at 8:04 was incredible. He was having so much with it!!
The full introduction of the Batmobile was, along with the main shootout in Heat, my favourite sound experiences I've had in a cinema.
I think, a hybrid batmobile would actually make sense. Stealthily sneaking up on someone on electric power, then firing up the engine and attacking from the shadows. Seems like a perfect fit for the Bat.

They did that with the Tumbler in the Nolan Trilogy. When Batman enters stealth mode in Batman Begins, it switches to an electric engine, and shuts all of the external lights off, so he could lose the cops. It’s a cool idea that I hope they keep going. For the making of this film, it seems the electric engine was just so they could get shots with Batman talking inside without having to scream over the engine. Like when he’s driving to save Alfred. They just add more muffled engine sounds in the background in post.
@Oldschool_car_nut-oo3ox
21 күн бұрын
@@thechad4485 they record and remix all the sound for most movies (add in all the sound effects etc.) so I think they like to control the level of noise on-set as much as possible. If you've seen deleted scenes or outtakes of school dance or club scenes in movies they are typically have no music or very quiet music. I saw something on YT about it, there's a whole science to it. They have to make quieter versions of a bunch of different things that are too noisy like cellophane to wrap flowers in a scene, newspapers and even silent ice for drinks because it tinkling against the glass is too much.
Nothing will top watching this for the first time. It's such a different and amazing take. And when it wakes up for the chase scene, you genuinely think it alive and waking up

There are features about this Batman that really makes it more plausible than previous versions… Example, is how Gordon accompanies the Batman, and all of these different situations… Allowing him passage… Very well thought out.
The most realistic Batmobile ever. Very beautiful design.
The sound effect of the Batmobile revving in theater was insane!
The incredible fact about this Batmobile, is that it feels like a character on its own. Something supernatural like a monster, a dark presence. Amazing
Props to the sound designers tho. The way the Batmobile sounds in this movie gives me butterflies every time.
Up until I'd seen the film, I was absolutely sure the car was a reworked trophy truck, but it's so much more. This one was truly the perfect Batman movie, where the title character finally got to flex his detective skills, and I certainly hope the follow-up stays close to the formula presented here!
Can't wait to see what more upgrades will be brought to this beast of a Batmobile in the sequel!
A perfect gift for the batman day 🖤🦇

Yeah well your life is probably kind of boring. Maybe that's why you like a predictable superhero movie. You don't have anything exciting in your own life so you live vicariously through the movie. You should get out of your mom's basement and go talk to a girl for once. The 2022 batman film is, trash Overrated and formulaic to the point where it is unwatchable. And to the fanboys who think it's some sort of masterpiece, get a life. Touch grass and go read a book.
Thank you Matt Reeves for directing an excellent Batman movie and also thank you to all the cast and crew of this awesome movie.
I watched the Batman movie in an enhanced sound system theater and my favorite part of the entire movie was the batmobile action sequence with the penguin because that batmobile is an absolute monster and the sound effects were glorious. It's like a trophy truck/muscle car and they did a great job designing it.
We need more of this batmobile
