I don't know why but I feel like the Riddler works as a city cop or more fitting a forensic officer and at 6.53 how cool would it be if that's actually Paul dano holding the riddle up to Batman. Hiding in plain sight...

They are an organization, kind of like the league of assassins that have been around for centuries, as far back as the 1600s whom have since been the reason for the events that take place in gotham. They are the people pulling the strings in the shadows. Pretty damn cool concept and creepy imo, love the court of owls. I think Alan wayne was executed by a talon in one of the comics.

Court of owls would be so dope and I'm glad its being brought to the light for those who don't read the comics

I like how writers have included and expanded the existence of Owlman from the CSA earth. A minor retcon makes Thomas Wayne, Jr a legacy identity from the Court of Owls from CSA Earth, except they were probably more benevolent and Jr perverted any good they may have done and probably killed off most the remaining members.

Thomas Wayne Jr is the name of Owlman on Earth 3/ Antimatter Earth, so it doesn't surprise me that they used this identity for a main continuity Talon.

If the twist at the end is that the Riddler is the Hero/Anti-Hero and Batman was the actual Villian or another Anti-Hero this would be the best movie of all time.

The tone and mood gives me graphic novel vibes and would be prefect for a Court of Owls adaptation in a sequel. I just want this Trilogy to explore villains and characters we've never seen on screen.
