Despite a successful career, Kevin Durant has had so much go wrong through the years that has kept it from being even greater.
Here I go through all the instances showing that the basketball Gods HATE Kevin Durant.

As a Suns fan it was the craziest day when KD was traded here to Phoenix. I was just in awe simply because my city has never once had a player on KD’s super star level. Despite that, I kinda knew we weren’t getting the chip last year and I expected this year to go exactly how it’s been going. Super grateful KD is here though, if he doesn’t get his last chip with Phoenix… disappointment is nothing new for The Valley. I won’t take his time here for granted that’s for sure.

Heck, he is a CLEAR 3rd amongst the guys from his own "generation" with LeBron and Curry being on a tier above him. Right now players like Giannis and Jokic have resumès basically as good as Durant's, with the only thing that has him ahead so far being stats compiled through a longer career.

It's quite a fucking disgrace that at a point in time KD was winning games in Brooklyn (small win streak, even) with lineups that consisted of him and 4 rookies on the court at the same time while Harden and Kyrie were out but let Durant be injured and none of those two goofballs can stand to hold the team down for a few games. KD has been so unlucky since they traded Harden in OKC. People often disregard context surrounding the rest of his OKC career due to hate. Really seems like he sold his soul for those 2 rings and man, it might've just been worth it in the end.

Disagree that Kawhi's ring was worth more. He joined an already strong team, 'led' them to 2 fewer season wins than the prior year, was out a lot in the RS (played just 60 games) and the Raptors had a better w/l record with him off the court than on. Then it took a well contested miracle shot bouncing around the rim four times to drop to get past Philly.

He's got the same number of rings as Wilt, Kawhi, and Hakeem. One more than Oscar, the Logo, Doc, Moses, Dirk, KG, and Kidd.
