The BARS ALONG PERIMETER ROAD are they GO GO Bars..? Angeles City
Ойын-сауық
#philippines #angelescity #tourism
I took a walk along Perimeter Road out past Malabanias Road connection and I was surprised at how many Go Go Bars there are there. Some of the Bars don't look like they made it through the pandemic and some of the ones I looked inside of were doing very well even at 2pm.
Come take the tour, see what looks familiar and what is all new to some...
Garfields Bar
Legends Bar
Candy Bar
Night Moves Resto Bar
Thunderbirds Bar
C N B cafe
House of Pain Tattoo

Legends is American owned and is noted for their pool tournaments most every night. Nice Bikes is where I rent my bikes when in Angeles. Bike rentals are 300 pesos per day and up.

I saw your video with the God Father.. Very genuine and from your open heart Chad.. Philly threw you a nice bone fortunately. Congrats and welcome to your new subscribers !!! .. Having the wrong girlfriend can send you back to Minnesota on a Greyhound bus with a Nickle in your pocket, so please be very careful finding a GF... If the video stuff doesn't pay the rent you and Adrian might try the male dancer bar gig? hehehe.. Shout out to Philly and Adrian!!! Your video content is fun , informative, and interesting! Nice to be along with you to see life from your eyes and your journey evolve! THANK YOU FOR THE SHOUT OUT ADRIAN PO!!! In Tom Brady THE GOAT and Tampa Bay Bucs WE STILL TRUST!!! At least until next week...

Great show Chubs ! It was funny with the lady and her son at the sausage stand when they didn't understand what you were saying. Perhaps because we northern boys speak FAST. Yankees, lol

I think you picked the best to vlog there at the bus terminal as this give us viewers the chance to get a taste of when its busy. I was also there during the days of Clark USAF and have been back a few times through the years hoping soon to pull the plug and join you all for good.

That old building next to your travel agency was a very popular dance club (disco?) back when I was stationed there. It was called the "3rd Eye". There used to be a big eye ball painted on the side of the building. But, it looks like it is either covered up by those signs or it faded into history. Of coarse, the 3rd eye was reference to a man's body part. But, nothing to do with his eye ball. Sorry Chad. The Steel Bar would never hire you. It says "Bawal po ang panget!" which means "Ugly is not allowed." lol

That sausage looks good! My mom was Polish and my grandfather’s brother was a butcher, who made his own kielbasa. We had with kapusta, the Polish name for sauerkraut.

The text was written correctly.. Something tells me that this stuff is made by a german guy living in Angeles.. Also try the "Fleischkaese" - this was THE staple food of my school days. It is some kind of meat loaf meets a sausage block :D dont know how to describe it.
Chad, while you're doing videos/reviews of hotels, turn left down the street at Gafields' and do a review of Capital Hill Hotel and Suites. Really a nice place that some of your viewers might be interested in. Stayed there twice in September and October 22. Hoping to meet up with you and Brian this coming spring when I come back.

Ah Its opposite frontier (a not so good hotel that smells mold) but a good place to get visa extention (Amega travels). If I need visa extention again I stay premier hotel a few days. There is atleast one bar on perimeter that still allow smoking indoors, close to Red Planet, there might be more for the few of us that still like smoking while drinking.
Maybe walk by that humongous building along the fence maybe there is a sign showing possible tenants......it doesn't appear that interesting to other vloggers......it is one big ass building.....lol and it can't be just another mall. :)

First time at Angeles 2010. Glad to know Garfields is still open. I got a free beer token from the owner. I asked him what was the deal with the ping pong balls. He said, " flip the balls on the ground. Didn't expect what happened 😳. So I proceeded to flip every basket of balls on every table. 😳 First place I'll hit, when I return.
I want to introduce myself, I am getting to be an old man. I made my first trip to Angeles City in Sept 1967. I was assigned to Clark AB and a new kid on the block. It was my first experience away from home and I didn't have much money either. My pay was 100 dollars per month and the peso exchange rate then was 3.86 per dollar. I currently am living in the USA in the frigid state of Wisconsin. I want to return and live out the remaining days on earth however, I can't leave here until my current Filipino wife gets her US Citizenship which will be in 2024. Maybe once she gets her permanent Green Card and decides to go back and forth a couple of times trying to maintain residency in the US enough to qualify for going forward with the citizenship deal. I would like to see if you can show my place there in Angeles City for the cheaper accomodations without a lot of bells and hoop la. I have a boarding house with one room currently vacant which normally rents for 3500 pesos per month plus electric and water. Like I said it is cheap compared to any other place and secure no safe needed unless you are advertising your wealth maybe as I was once told out of site out of mind. Anyway if interested in checking my place out please feel free to email me at: overnite6462@msn.com or text me at (904)-505-3426. The place is within walking distance of Burger King in Korea town. Look to hear from you soon. Thanks

New Sub ~ Sub of Brian Philly ~ I have been in the Philippines on my 30-day vacation every year since 2012 minus the 2 year shut down: I have cerebral palsy from birth, but that is another story: You seem to be a nice guy, so I'm giving you some advice: Do yourself a favor; Get out of Angeles City and that walking street ~ I have never been and would never step foot in AC, but I do not want to! Goto: Cebu, Davao, Bohol, anywhere but AC or Manila! And I saw your interview with Brian. Stay away from Thailand also, I've been there once and never again. Thailand is an AC, the whole country is like AC!
every bar in AC is a go go bar!!!
That is a sausage not a burger.

Thats true.. if you messed up your gut or got sick from food and feel weak and the immune system is down, Sauerkraut can fix your gut immune system, because of its good bacteria. German Superfood :D
Is there some rule about not filming inside the bars, even when they give you permission?

Brian is great- a true trailblazer and nice to see he willing to help out guys like you. were Brian lacks is he is married, sees his vlogs thru a certain lens- perhaps because he is former law enforcement and from a big city, and he crushed it during Covid when guys couldn't travel. But 10am walks dont cut it, views need more insight into what makes AC tick! - girls, history, ex pats-retired ones that know AC in and out. Brian won't allow commits on ideals or views he disagrees with- Overstay Road is notorious for his censorship.

Been watching Brian on and off for a few years and just watching yours now I can agree it's an entirely different perspective. Now that I know his background I can see that he is trying to stay positive and not draw attention to what most must hate about AC.

@@dumaguetedreaming youre right about that, Brian doesn't like the bar scene and has commented negatively about them for years. Ironic so many dont like the bars in AC that propel everything there. One doesnt have to go to the bars but they are the life force in AC
