Crazy. Malukah has been my favorite video game musician for over 10 years. Blind guardian has been such a huge part of my life Aswell, since I met my wife, over 12 years ago. In less than a week I get to see Bling Guardian for the first time with her in phoenix AZ. What A weird timing coincidence.

Thank you Malukah. This is a very important song for me and a few of my friends. Around 6 years ago or so, our fine friend passed away by drowning in a local river (suicide? murder? no one knows even now). This was our drunken go-to-sing-a-long tune with our small crew. And still to this day we always sing this in memory of our lost brother. Thank you for making this song even more awesome. I'm shedding a tear for our fallen comrade while listening to your beautiful voice. Thank you Malukah.

Once upon a time, on the Wacken Open Air, 20.000 people sang this song.

Oh my god does this ever take me back. This song was an introduction to so many new concepts for me when I was a kid. It wouldn't be a stretch to say this one particular song and its lyrics were a huge influence on me as a writer, and it lead me down new paths in music that would affect me as a musician, too. It's crazy to think of how differently I would be doing absolutely everything if I hadn't had this little song as a gateway way back then.

Zach Silby Noooooo way!! I play as a tiefling bard in the Rise of Tiamat campaign! My party has already killed some important figures in the Dragon Cult by now, while my character follows a personal objective of amassing a following and creating some personality cult surrounding himself as a way to cope with the rejection he suffered as a child due to being a tiefling.

I'm playing in a campaign set a little after the rise of tiamat but the cult of the dragon still had a presence in the world. I'm playing a dragonborn druid that used to be a member of the cult (it's her dirty secret). She had to leave because of a disagreement and also accidently burning down the temple didn't help.

The Bard is one of the harder characters to role-play but one of the most rewarding. If you can get the entire table to sing along to your bardic inspiration song then you earned an inspiration token or two.

I got a tiefling bard too, but our party played a 'walk of life" story (sorry i am not sure the translation is saying what i meant to - a story, where the characters going through their life from the first moment, when their party is formed, and all character begin as first level). We also get a half-orc rogue (he was with me from the background story, we was both criminals and actually escaping), a dwarvish cleric women (with some crazy quest what was given to her by her goddes - only noones believed her, so she goes without any support) and a halfling barbarian (he was adopted, has almost the minimum intelligence and a crazy-high strenght, also a life debt to the cleric, who saved him after his clan was slaughtered in a clan war. He decided help the cleric in her quest, before goes to avenge his clan, because that was her only request after heard his story. Also the barbarian goes by the name George Freedom, half of his face painted in blue, speak about himself in 3rd person singular, and has a bagpipe, what he is proficient whit it. It was created totally as a fun character whitout any serious intention, yet, when turns out we need battle, it goes through every enemy, like nothing. But my bard it seems a better healer, than our cleric... xD
