@@chewwybeans Usually, people that complain about mechanical switches being loud is more than welcome to stay in an old office where everyone used a typewriter and going 40-60 WPM.

I literally showed one of my friend who actually want really loud clicky switches this video, yeah he immediately told me to build him a keeb with these switches in it. So I guess now I actually have to create this.

okay but there are silent mechanical keyboards called linear keyboards and they make up a majority of mechanical keyboards, these clicky blues are a minority

Actually I found this satisfying, I like sound of the blue switches. Sounds way better then linear ones. Also that precision of click and physical contact + bump. I love my Outemu blue. But mine looks like MX blue.

As soon as the typing test started, I audibly gasped and then proceeded to breathe only twice for the rest of its duration. That rat, that bloody freaking rat, watched me the whole time.

OMG!!!! This triggers PTSD of a worker had to deal with. His board sounded similar to this and everyone in the office forced him to move to the furthest cube in the bay as it would actually degrade inbound service calls and we got customer complaints as well as coworker complaints!!!!!!!!!!

I'm already buying Gateron Black Inks V2, lube, film, stabs and I won't be able to build it until late Q1 2022

I'm used to a Razer green keyboard, so these don't bother me. But then I realized, it wasn't just about the ping in the click, it was the loudness. Because I can control the volume, I can't say for sure how loud these switches actually are. Also in order to really make it sound worse, remove all lube from the stabilizers and use thin PBT key caps. That'll add the real finishing touches to this keyboard.

This is satisfying to me. I love it so much.
