That show wanted a happy ending. They made it irresistible to her. Great show. This was a fun season for a change. TV isn't that great anymore.

I don’t like them either, but I’m glad Kim and Alyssa went out early. They were my two LEAST favorites. As for my favorite, definitely Aron.

Honestly, Howie makes an amazing Banker!!

Too bad Rob messed up and did not make it to the end. Rob is good television which is why he keeps getting invited onto these shows. It would have been an epic ending if Rob faced off against Howie.

Deal or no Deal Island 1 time. His wedding to Amber was a 2 hour television event in prime time on CBS. He had a reality TV show with Amber in Las Vegas after they were married. He had another reality TV show with him traveling around the world. He had a recent show with him traveling around Boston. Those are the appearances I can think of. Rob would not keep being invited on to reality TV shows if he was not good TV.

I stopped watching the minute Rob went out. But had to look up to see if my hunch about Howie being the banker was true.

It makes since Howie is the banker because originally this is his show.

Never heard of the show but I'm glad to watch the show and I would've rooted for Rob the whole time. Boston Rob all the way. Eventhough I know he didn't win the whole thing.

So the point is to keep playing because every time he increases the amount even if you choose extremely high value cases.

Not necessarily, in the previous episodes when the winner wasn't decided, the offers only went up as long as there was still two or more high value cases left. When Amy played against the banker halfway through the season, the offer dropped from $825,000 to $467,000 because she knocked out the only seven-figure amount. There was still $850,000 on the board however. In the case of Jordan, the winner of the season, the offer went up from $1,197,000 to $1,230,000 because there was still $4,500,000 AND $5,000,000 in play, despite the elimination of $13,857,000.

A little less than half, but yeah, it’s still around half. Which sucks, considering that people in other countries, like Canada and the United Kingdom, DON’T HAVE TO PAY TAXES ON THEIR WINNINGS AT ALL! And yet WE AMERICANS HAVE TO?! SO unfair!
