The Band CAMINO - Daphne Blue Production Tutorial (Guitars, Synths, Drums, Bass, Producing, Mixing)

Музыка

This Week I'm diving into the Pop Rock 80s Anthem that is "Daphne Blue" by The Band CAMINO. We'll be going over how to replicate certain pop rock guitar tones, how to get the perfect tone for pop leads, blending hard rock sound design with modern pop cleanness, and EQ-ing different guitar parts to blend together in the mix!

Hi, I'm Seth, I've been Songwriting & Producing music for the past 10 years. I've worked with many artists in bringing their creative ideas into the real world. I've worked on projects for Warner Music Group and three songs I've written (and two I've produced) have made it onto Spotify-Curated Playlists (Love Pop, OPM Workday Marathon, & New Music Friday Philippines, Cozy Christmas Pop). I say all this only because I want you to know that the music you've worked your ass off to create is in the hands of someone who knows what they're doing. Music Production is one of the easiest things to screw up and I've seen countless song ideas (amazing ones) ruined by lackluster production. I'm here to make you sound good. That's it.

Interesting mix! The original used a Tele into a Bogner Ecstasy on 10 and a Rockman headphone amp

Have you ever A/B’d using MAXXBASS vs doing the 35hz neve preamp boost with the 50hz HPF? for me doing the neve thing REALLY opens up the low end on kick and bass, it adds like another dimension of low end. I’m curious if anyone has done both to see how they compare. I know MAXXBASS adds some harmonics and also is a sub harmonic generator, but if you drive the neve input I feel it essentially does the same thing.

The difference is maxx bass is focused on the sub harmonic content in a very focused way, whereas the neve adds harmonics to the entire signal via analog emulations. Both work, but I use maxx bass when I’m happy with how the rest of the sound feels and I don’t want to change anything other than the bass
