This is so sick! I produced/mixed Knox’s last EP and have been watching your videos and using MPM products for years, used a decent amount of it throughout the project too. What a crazy full circle moment, I super appreciate the love! You nailed the style too, to no surprise 🤘

Brother you have the SAUCE! First time I heard the Knox projects I was like “holy shit these are perfectly produced and mixed”. If you ever wanna make an appearance on the channel and break down a production or mix, I’d selfishly LOVE to see that 😂

So glad I just read the comments! Been trying to find who produced and mixed Knox’s recent EP. It’s flawless man. Maybe the best sounding production and mix I’ve heard in years. Super crisp, punchy, but super unique too which is hard to accomplish today. Tasteful, well thought out parts. Incredible work.

Great video! Here's a video suggestion: You guys should make a video about creating piano tones and mixing piano. Some ideas for tones you could break down are "Angel Pt. 1" or "That's Not How This Works," which have super bright, clean, and compressed piano tones. You could also analyze "Too Much" by Justin Bieber, which has a dark piano tone and happens to be my favorite. In the video, you could discuss the different settings in a piano VST that can alter the tone, as well as cover topics like EQ, compression, and everything else involved in piano mixing. You could also provide insights on sound selection, such as when to use an upright piano versus a grand piano. Currently, I use the Hammers and Waves suite for Kontakt, which is amazing. It allows you to transform your pianos into pads and create really cool textures. You should definitely check it out.
