DLR definitely has his faults, but there will never be another like him. This is absolute comedy.

They turned the SoCal Rock scene on it's fuckin' ear, back in '78. Ed's "Eruption" intro, to "You Really Got Me", was unlike anything anyone had heard done on a guitar, previous to that time. South Cally guitarists spent the next ten years, trying like hell just to figure out how Ed DID half of those insane Dive Bombs, and two hand tap harmonics on the fretboard. And then there's Dave. Dave was THE frontman from hell. Dave was funny, and had half a million stories to tell, about touring, recording, and just plain living. Dave was a lot more educated than he ever really let on. David Lee Roth is a voracious reader, and a damned talented writer. Dave's autobiography is a great and hilarious read. Highly recommended.

I can't put in to words how much I enjoyed this, more please.

Sammy’s behavior has reflected negatively on his character for me over the years. He continuously speaks poorly of Dave to elevate his own image. Drives me crazy. The dude suffers from some sort of insecurities and need for validation. Dave has always taken the high road. Can we also talk about how bad ass of a last album they made with different kind of truth.
