Ball is balanced currently this is because he is still easily countered by characters like sombra and cassidy all they did was make him faster and help some of his major flaws

the point of wrecking ball is to go fast they can still counter the ball if the ball isnt a good ball and doomfist can still punch him pretty reliably orisa can still block him mauga can run him over so while it does help thats a good thing since he can still be countered by a lot of characters

the best thing is just doom not being able to one shot mines any more.

If you bind retract to something different (primary fire feels good) you can still use jump while you're swinging

What I like is you can Toronto kick to slam and then grapple away. You can grapple, roll back while retracting and slam, then grapple again to get away/boop

I was so sad when I first tried out wrecking ball, not being able to retract his hook. Because when I was a kid I used to play a lot of littlebigplanet 2. Now his grappling hook feels very similar to what im used to!!! I am definitely gonna pick up ball again. Used to feel so clunky, I like this way more! I can finally fling myself how I want!

Glad to see it confirmed that the grapple feels a LOT different, I played my first game and was fucking up all sorts of moves that I usually had no issue with, took me a minute to get used to.

Thats a good idea, I put it on primary fire. You can't shoot in ball form anyways. Dunno why blizz would put it on jump. Jumping is one of the few a actions you **can** do in ball form, and then they double-bind that action.

i jump while spin to winning and have muscle memory to LMB out of ball mode so i set it to interact and changed my interact bind to 1 and F (f is a just incase i want to do interact normally)

I'm pretty sure in settings you can change the retract to something better if you don't like space

makes the slams so much easier to do wherever I love it, though the grapple feels different, still getting used to it (I'm still getting flamed tho lol, at least I can protect my team a little bit) ball is life :3

what I already hate is that people think even more that you should play with your team instead of trolling people in the backline.

I mean doing dives to get a bunch of shields with your team seems to be the intended feature. Imaging diving with a genji and tracer adn giving them 75 shields, kinda like how a winston bubble would help their dive.

@@fatnootz3466 okay tell that the insta lock mercy who is not in voice or the widow in my team. even champion 5 lobbies don't have cooedinated dives, and honestly in my ranked games I can be happy if I dont talk to myself. Ball needs to get balanced around your team not playing with you, if I only play ball when my team is communicative and picking around the team comp, then I'll never ever play ball... So yeah let ball cause problems by himself.

he is useless in anything between gold and masters and he got omeganerfed. because aside from his "my teammates think they have a rein shield in front of them when I pick ball" debuff he also has a "my teammates think they have a junkerqueen on their team debuff". and if you dont play with your team its all the more reason for everyone to stop playing and say "no tank" despite u 1v3ing every fight and your team dying to a single winston in an incomprehensive fashion @@gaugea

When I saw that you could grapple without it going on cooldown I thought "Oh cool, rope climbing is back," but then I realized you don't need it anymore with this retract :)
