The BAM was built in the 70s, they had diesel locomotives.

And it's most likely either composed by volkov or tupitsyn. I'm leaning towards tupitsyn, since it reminds me of his medleys, and how he always has an epic build up to the second strain.

It's most likely played by the (nowadays called the central band of the ministry of defense) first exemplary band of the ministry of defense USSR, probably either conducted by Sergeev or Nazzarov
