One thing I want to bring up about the money and sales is that so many people buy online for full price now. Back when old cods came out they were cheaper online since you weren’t getting the physical product.

One thing that makes me feel so good nowadays is the vindication for championing WaW since 2008 as some of the best Call of Duty ever offered. I was repeatedly dismissed and told I was wrong only for people 15 years later saying the same great stuff I have. Bittersweet.

Damn! An hour and a half for first video! That’s crazy. It’s extraordinarily good for your first video.

I feel like their most egregious offense was what they did to zombies. They keep trying to drastically change it and implement things like "aether shards" and garbage storylines/maps with no memorable characters. Genuinely haven't seriously played any zombie games past bo3, and even then I only play zombie chronicles, shadows of evil, and whatever custom map I have downloaded on it. They should've at least put in round based maps that don't have actual junk that you have to collect for some asinine reward, and declutter the hud. No point in having a damage counter or a health bar for any of the zombies, why do I need a permanent compass/map on my screen for a zombie mode?

Zombies has seen a massive downgrade since BO3. I think that because its lacks the Innovation and creativity that was behind BO3 and the older games. I think what bro is trying to say is that zombies lacks the personality and identity the older games had which I completely agree with. Its not just that there are "drastic changes" like whatever bro is claiming, but more so they are removing/downgrading parts of zombies that didn't need removing/downgrading while making less great changes. I really like Cold War zombies, probably more than a lot of COD zombies fans, but it does feel like a downgrade in someways and then Vanguard and MW3 zombies are an even bigger downgrade and lack Innovation and creativity more than Cold War somehow.

Greed at its finest. Operators in zombies ruins the entire mode. Having set characters brought so much to the mode. I don't think zombies can ever be good again as long as there are operators.

Same way we can’t go to the moon anymore the same way they can’t make a good call of duty anymore

What I like about the new cods is the camo grinds and the new movement being faster, but everything else is shallow since the series has been running yearly for like 20 years atp since ghost the quality of cods at launch have been on a decline

I'd say a good way to fix cod is to let the developers make original games in between their releases, its obvious these devs want to make something other than an yearly game let them have creative freedom so they can get out of the burnout but yk it'll never happen and the other is stop releasing them yearly and broken

Modern Warfare 2019 was the last good COD for me. The gunfight mode was my absolute favorite new addition. Sadly the game went downhill after Warzone integration because MW2019 took the back seat after that integration. There's literally a bug now that kicks me or my friend out of our party after every single game. Shit sucks.

After BO4 and the end of the Aether storyline of zombies, I've just become numb to Cod nowdays, haven't paid for it since then too. I played Cold War for a bit but it doesn't have the same soul as previous games, especially zombies

I've been a Call of Duty player since Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360, I play it on PC now after the release of the Xbox One. My first CoD was Infinite Warfare. The last good CoD was Cold War. The developers took their time, made a great campaign, made a fresh take on zombies. MW2R wasn't bad, but not as good as MW2019. Everything else sucked, and with how MW3R, it won't ever get good again.

@@Skrenja It has had some shine, like MW 2019 having a great campaign & MWIII having a decent multiplayer, but still flawed thanks to the manipulative SBMM being used now. You don't really get a "true" gaming experience anymore. Bad players play other bad players, whereas the better you are, the harder your games can be. I guess I am getting old now anyway, I don't always play at 100%.

EOMM ruined any chance I had of actually giving COD a chance. It’s scummy and I think should be illegal when they are using it to inflate their player base only to get players to buy their $30 cosmetics. They don’t care about making a good game, they care about exploiting their player base.

When MW3 (2011) came out, I loved the extra content that was in it. Survival was so fun that I thought they'd do more. But they really didn't. When the remake of MW came out, though I was like, ok, they gotta have plenty of extra content. Nope, there is only 1 and one of the most disappointing things for it. But yeah, they don't care about that. All they care for back then, and now is money. With the bundles and actors that don't have anything to do with war. Nikki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and Cheech & Chong have nothing to do with war. Snoop kinda makes sense in a way because he plays the game. They're just doing what Fortnite does. But Fortnite makes sense. It's just a fun online game. No matter how I put it, people will disagree and say I'm wrong. When they were born after CoD 4 was released.

Feels good knowing that the last 2 CODs I bought new were BO2 and 3. Horrible franchise these days.

Helldivers 2 is the best of both worlds you have a game that is so much fun to play has a positive and dedicated community, and a live service that respects the player and is consumer friendly. For cod is for some reason cant do that we either get a great game like bo3 but have awful supply loot system where you will almost never get the weapons or MWIII we get a solid line up of content but cheating is rampant and cosmetic thats completely betray the theming of the game or we get MW22 where its neither fun and its has the shittest live service support

I stopped playing after BO3. Went downhill for me after that. War zone isn’t my thing and I noticed COD makes me mad. I would rather play BG3 or FF7 Rebirth. Nice video by the way. Got recommended to me. Hopefully algorithm treats you well.

This game died with MW2. They ditched dedicated servers like selfish greedy weasels; and I haven't bought one of their games since. Was fun while it lasted. You'll never have my patronage ever again.

I'd argue that this degradation for the series comes down to Microsoft's decisions and not the devs (mostly in Infinite's case) as I’d argue blaming devs is overall reductive to the real problem of upperhand management.

I started with MW2 didn't have online loved the game got black ops loved it played it for days went back played MW2 online loved it, love mw3 although people said it sucked but imo definitely brilliant didn't enjoy black ops 2 COD died when they realised that game idc what people say

Infinite Warfare is actually a really good game, it got so hated at the time because it was the third jetpack/exo suit COD game in a row but imo it has the BEST jetpack/exo suit movement out of the three. The Campaign is the closest Campaign we've had to a Hollywood movie (in a good way), the MP took what BO3 did so amazingly and improved upon it even more (again imo) and the Zombies is the most slept on experience ever, it truly is the last amazing Zombies.

MW2019 has horrible maps and bad decisions like Warzone being forced into everything and SBMM MWII had completely ruined the movement and perk system and it had very little content and features at launch. MWIII is actually a DLC for MWII that has way too much reused content but at least brings back good features and has a bunch of post launch content. I could say soo much more MW2019 and MWII but I’m tired, MWIII is the only good reboot next to Cold War. The campaign in MW2019 is amazing, MWII has a good campaign, and MWIII created the worst game story mode of all time. That’s what I think about the campaigns.

Is CoD finally going to die?

MW2 reboot wasn’t too bad. I played it a lot and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The fact that MW3 was worse in almost every way shows how much Activision doesn’t really care about it anymore. There is nothing unique about the new CODs when they release. Cold War was the last one that felt a little different for me.

Call of duty died in 2013 🙏 The only reason why people still play the new games is because their uneducated adults with the attention span of 2 braincells and don't want to wake up and realize that their being used for money and attention by activision. The last great call of duty was MW2019. Since then it's been nothing but (Greed and sloth) pure laziness writing. Warzone and bundle packs. 2003-2012 was my favorite for cod. Now we will never get that feeling again. The only studio i still have faith in is treyarch. But that's saying something

Your tangent about CS was unnecessary, and worse yet, completely inaccurate. You compared one year of COD revenue to the totality of CS Go revenue in its history. A more accurate figure for both is $31 billion for the COD franchise and $6.7 billion for CS Go. If we only count CODs from after CS Go released (2011) it will probably be more like $20 billion, but still far more than CS. CS Go earning more than COD doesn’t even sound right, so I’m surprised you didn’t double check this.
