It wasn't the best weather for gelato yet, but it’s getting much better and because I would like to finish my list of ’The Best Ice cream and gelato shops in London’ I had to go and try the Snowflake Luxury Gelato.
This place is not famous only for their (as I found out) high quality of gelato, but also for their hipster invention of the Avo-lato.
The medium size of cup (2 scoops) £4.8 - The bestseller, as usual with ice cream and gelato, is the salted caramel, but I always prefer to go for pistachio and one fruity flavor. So, I picked a scoop of pistachio and a scoop of berry sorbet. They were both excellent, and the small crushed bits of pistachios were definitely the touch I loved the most about this gelato.
The Avo-Lato £9.5 - Avolato is presented on the internet as a vegan-friendly gelato. However, as it doesn’t contain milk, so it’s not really gelato but sorbet. It’s made of 60% of fresh avocado, mixed with some syrup and fresh lemon juice and served in the skin of the avocado. The core is made of the ‘superfood,’ almonds, walnuts, and peanut butter.
