    I currently work as a Technical Flight Inspector onboard these kind of aircrafts :) (smaller King Airs in my case). Nice video! A good description of the job itself.

    If GPS is so accurate why use an ILS at all?

    GPS Can fail Or not pick up the necessary amount of satellites required to give an accurate report. The ILS Is a Precision Approach which is alot more accurate then a RNAV(GPS) Approach

    GPS only replaces a Category I ILS approach, nothing higher. You can check an FAA site. A Cat I ILS has a minimum of 200 feet. You can read the question: "Is the basic GPS signal sufficient to meet all the needs of civil aviation?" and it's answer @ www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/ato/service_units/techops/navservices/gnss/faq/gps/#17
