The sadness on the face of Patrick Macnee is very real. He was quite emotional when she left the series. And, according to what Linda Thorsen said, so was Diana Rigg. Her eyes do look misty in that emotional last goodbye scene with Patrick. So sad...they had wonderful chemistry. They were great friends and loved and respected one another. And IMO after watching some interviews with him, he acted like he was hopelessly in love with her....

how could he not be? but I guess in those days perhaps marriage was respected. now he/she/they would just have an affair, get divorced, have more affairs, get more divorces, etc.

Always keep your bowler on in times of stress and keep a watchout for those diabolical masterminds.
