Amanda is ahead of her time. The win is that she is doing what she loves and there are very few folks doing that in life. To receive accolades in abundance would be the cherry on top. The host gets her, I get her and many folks get her but will the masses get her? Only time will tell…
So I just binged Insecure for the first time. I was always an Amanda fan. But sis was "ackin ackin" on that show. I loved how even in the moments she wasn't speaking or was in the background, sis was ackin. I kept trying to see the tension between the cast, but Amanda stayed in character. Plus to know she was COMPLETELY different than the character she played, she did an awesome job. And ugh, the pull to politics. You know it's calling you so we're ready when you're ready. 😊❤
