Saturday 25th May 2024 saw the annual parade of The Atholl Highlanders take place at Blair Castle, Blair Atholl.
The highlight for many (although not the young boy) is the firing of the field gun.
This happens after the Pipe Band and Highlanders have walked on and when the Inspecting Officer appears from the main Blair Castle entrance at 3pm, the command "Atholl Highlanders ... General Salute, Present Arms ..." end with the BANG!
