Defender was a damn good port that worked well around the lack of buttons.

That's his cousin
"So you think your fast enough to beat the bomber? I don't think so." 😆 Kaboom had a great TV commercial.
This takes retro video game content to another level. I know this is a new video, but it feels like retro KZread. Also, your enthusiasm is contagious. Good $hit - keep it up!
Dude, I love your setup. It reeks of comfy vibes and nostalgia up the wazoo. Keep it up!
I named my Poochyena in Pokemon Emerald after you
Love the content Evan!
i can only go as far back as nes so i can play games that save at least but these are pretty neat if you got a friend over
Good stuff bro, keep the videos coming 👌🏻
my grandpa can't understand his phone, I can't understand that atari knob. yin and yang baby
dude this content is awesome.
My cousin was the only person I knew that had both an Atari and a tv in his bedroom. He would only let me watch him and my other older cousin play it. Whenever I asked to play it, he'd say, "Not now but maybe later ". Well, "later" never ever came. Some months go by and for Xmas I received the NES, and he asked me if he could play it with me. I said "Not now, maybe later" lol. People could be pretty petty about their stuff back then.
Just started playing Yars' Revenge again after 40 years. Atari is where it's at.
I like your videos, mostly 'cause you play those games and consoles, not just collect them (like so many others that only focus on collecting and say nothing 'bout games or their experience with them). You remind me of Classic Game Room and Happy Console Gamer. On a side note though, the Fairchild Channel F was actually the first console with interchangeable cartridges.
Ms. Pac-Man, Phoenix, Q*bert, Super Cobra, Stargate (Defender II), and Wizard of Wor are all excellent arcade ports. Montezuma's Revenge and Megamania are two of the best original games. Just the opinions of an old-schooler who grew up with the 2600. 😎
You should check out Pitfall 2. It utilizes extra chips (like Mario 3) for the sound and it sounds closer to an NES game than a 2600 game. It's also just a better game than the first. Dig Dug has a pretty good port on 2600. Seems much less compromised than Pac Man. There's also a bunch of cool homebrew games that push the system to it's limit. Great Video!
Wow, a channel that showcases old hardware with a real crt and not a laggy modern display. So tired of watching videos of people showcasing old games and complaining about controls while using a laggy tv and blaming it on the hardware.
Bro that’s so funny You dialed in for the last one 😂😂 good shit
Love your vids my dude, i found you yesterday w the Tekken 2 video and Ill definitely be checking out the other stuff youve made❤
you have to wait till the alligators close their mou.. Evan30 !! NOO! NOOOO!!
It’s so crazy I found this channel when I did I’ve just started setting up a very similar gaming setup. I love the format of these vids too it feels like just hanging out and playing games with a friend. Titles are hilarious too. Keep it up!
I love this channel. 😂 A diamond in the dirt.
I was 3 years old when the Atari 2600 came out 😅
these games give me anxiety because there isn't a clear goal, you're just doing the same thing over and over until you die of old age. Hits too close to home imo. Btw, in the Pitfall PS2 game you can play the original if you bring the torch to a certain ruin
Love all the content. Straight off the cuff and honest. Glad I happened across your channel. Don't change a thing. 😎
ET was a game that obviously needed a few more weeks development time, if you ever try it, it was actually quite an ambitious game for the 2600. Spielberg would have been fine with a Pac-Man knockoff. But what the man behind Yar’s Revenge brought us was a complex game with a few rather inconvenient gameplay issues.
Video has a similar vibe to an old gaming video thing from around the year 2000 called classic game room.
nice, i've been wanting to get the atari 7800 for so long, but their kind of rare to find. as for now, i owned ps4 versions of atari flashbacks classics 1, 2, and 3, tempest 4000, and the Atari 50th anniversary, the latest ps4 atari game.
Came for Tekken 2, stayed for Atari. Witnessed Grandpa Atari give you a hair-cut mid video. Wonderful job as always! I really like these videos because it feels like sitting down with a friend talking with the same level of enthusiasm I have for video games. Gonna have to crack open a strawberry milk for each new upload.

Keystone Kapers is funner than ANYTHING a lot of YOU KNOW WHO companies released in the last few years.
You’re killing the intro and outro game.
Make like a mini script. Bullet points You won’t need it forever but I feel like it could help. Lmao the milk too. Also you can ignore this cause I don’t make anything
Oh how cute Atari could be your grandaddy. It was MY babysitter at night in the late 70s and early 80s. My mother didnt care what i did as long as it didnt bother her. My favorite game was Cosmic Ark. Then Baseball, Pac Man and Combat. Great system. I have a Sunnyvale Heavy six and several others but NOT my original one from Sears. 😢
There are some gems on 2600. Vanguard, Infiltrate, Shark Attack are some of my favorites. Activision games are great.
what's the newest console gen you're willing to review?
Fucking awesome
You seen the new Atari 2600+? I think it's awesome that they released modern hardware is both compatible with contemporary TVs and the original cartridges of both the 2600 and 7800. Plus, there is the 50th anniversary collection, the flashback collections, and the "Recharged" games for current-gen consoles/PC. All this will help classic Atari stay playable for years the come. Now, I want to see what entirely new stuff Atari can do moving forward. (Not a sponsored comment, just like Atari. Guess I'm an amateur shill, lol.) Edit: I know they put out the VCS a few years ago. From what I understand, it is a console/PC hybrid. Need to look at some reviews to understand more about what it is capable of. I bring the VCS up to say that Atari is doing new stuff. I just hope they continue to do so, and that they continue to improve. I want to see Atari be the best it can be :)

The Atari 2600+ seems sick, I may snag one
Okay.Let me explain something no one doesn't realize only until the time they played it in the time of the eighties... Atari games got people mad... Because games got harder and hard a friend said To me. In early 90's 1992 he told me! I said yes, You are right & But it's all about Beating your own score and everyone else's If it's that insane hard, which is your real challenge system was the regular NES! You is rewarded with an actual good cinematic ending sometimes.
I came out in 1977.
Try out Jungle Ping on the Pico-8.
Damn......so many hot guys on KZread.
dude I JUST THINK UR COOL MADUDE, KEEP IT UP!!!! also how do i get yr haircut( seriously asking) the 2nd one i mean
i miss my wife
Front row seats to the guns and thighs show 💪🏼🦵🏻
The games are primitive? No shit. So were the first automobiles......So were the firsts of EVERYTHING.
Atari stuff is a bit too old for me.
The first system with interchangeable cartridges was the RCA Studio 2. 1977.
