@Havoc D Honestly the elite series 2 is MUCH better than the series 1. My suggestion is go to gamestop, get a series 2 and get the 1 year protection plan. before the year is up go turn it in and get it replaced for 45 dollars. I do it every single year.

It was nice to see your review, I picked one up as well. After about 3 days of playing with it I took it back. I currently use the thrustmaster eswap x. And I think that controller blows this Asus ROG away specially for that price.

My girlfriend took me to Best Buy to get this as a little anniversary gift surprise because I was looking into this thing.... I immediately opened it in the parking lot out of excitement, felt how shitty it felt, let her feel how shitty it felt and we IMMEDIATELY went back in and got a refund and picked up a Dualsense Edge instead within 5 minutes of purchasing it lmao! I own several elite series 2s that I paid less for than this so I honestly can't believe they charged as much for this as they did and expected people to just eat it. The triggers were extremely mushy and even the trigger stops didn't help make them feel better, the buttons and build quality felt like a cheap generic brand level of plastic construction and personally I was just not a fan of the back paddle style and placement on top of them also having the same quality issues as the rest of the buttons. No way this thing should be more than $50 max imo

Just overall trash product and there's no amount of Copium that I was gonna take to justify it. Asus really hyped this thing up to be next gen and it's absolutely garbage. Hell a Nintendo switch pro controller is better lol

I just gotback from bestbuy and have had mine for about 2 hours and its a freaking nintendo pro controller with a screen and it was $184 out the door! Thats like almost 1/3 the price of the damn Ally. The buttons do NOT feel as good as any pro anything I've used. I got it for my Ally because I am desperate to get the command center on the ally working with a controller and hoping this works - dunno will find out soon but DANG 184 bucks WOW (barf) its freaking super cheap feeling, like plastic everything. I have a Mobapad M9-HD ($70) and it blows the freaking doorsoff this as far as quality triggers/buttons/feeling.

how do you connect the Rog Raikiri pro to the Rog ally or Steamdeck? I find it difficult to connect.. I clicked the top right button and it shows the menu but I don't know which button to click to enter.. also i clicked the pair button under but it didn't do anything..

I don't have the ally yet. Decided to hold off on it for now. I'm heavy into emulation on the deck. I ended up getting a miyoo mini plus instead lol

The Microsoft Elite 2 is great. Tried and trusted. Waiting for no 3. This controller aint it cheif. Great video

Yes, get the elite from game stop and put the protection plan on it. Then before the expiration just return it for a new one and re purchase protection plan.

The razer wolverine ultimate pretty much does what this controller does, apart from the fancy screen that comes with the Asus but the razer has a built in volume control for your headset so you can change your volume on the fly. Also the razer has the same trigger stop system as the Asus, really don't get what's so special with the Asus.

Get the V2 chroma for slightly more or less, it's the cheaper and partially better alternative to the PS5 version

there is no way Microsoft would have partnered with ASUS if the rog controller could do everything the Elite controller does.

The cost is in the display. I'm not convinced that it's worth it. I got an Xbox Elite 2 Core model for $100. Added the paddles for another $8. No charging stand but for $100 it's all I need and then some.

Yeah I couldn't even bring myself to hype this crap up. It's just a garbage cash grab.

Alot of people siss the regular controller but I love it , especially the elite however we need new sticks because they drift however i think they made a kit that fixes drift. But yeah ill never buy this. Maybe the xenon one

ima be real to each is own but yall gotta understand yall paying for the name and the oled...and in my opinion this controller is way better than the elites 2 by far..in reality nobody really cares about a case...2 you gotta adjust to new controllers like the razer v2..not throwing shade just tired of seeing people talk down on new products that dont give em a chance and i do agree with the price...it is not worth that price at all so i do agree with that...idk i had all these controllers and thats just my opinion..good vid tho

Thanks for your comment and I appreciate the feedback. Honestly my biggest thing here is the lack of changeable sticks. If I had that at the least I may have kept it. I rarely use back paddles though but the placement felt off for my hands. If they come out with a better one maybe I'll try again. One thing I forgot to mention was the software completely didn't work either bro. I was pissed 😅

It was garbage. I ended up getting a refund. The button placement on the bottom was just "off" and honestly I think it was a cash grab for asus. There was nothing that stood out for the price paid.

If the glass has like gorilla glass victus or something, and the sticks had no stick drift, then maybe I'd say it's worth it ngl
