Psalm 131:8 "Arise, O Lord, into thy resting place: thou and the ark, which thou hast sanctified."
This brings me joy to see Our Lady honored. How fortunate we are to have her protection. It reminds me of psalm 118:32, where her intercession enlarges my heart and I can follow God's Commandments.
What you bind on earth will be bound in heaven? No protestant can satisfactorily explain that verse for me.

My single point was the he was the last Pope, a truly regal one, who commanded a SINGLE Catholic Church under the auspices of the First Concile hold fast to the sacred liturgy of the Latin Mass. In this sense, he was the last.

Christians have already believed this since the very beginning of Christianity (otherwise how could my parish church have the title of Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary in the Middle Ages of the dogma was announced in 20th century?), it's called "sensus fidei", God pour his divine inspirations in hearts of men leading them to the Truth, the Church by through her authority received from Christ only authorises these beliefs by declaring them dogmas
Idolatry nothing less.😊

It's being increasingly agreed among Christian and Atheistic scholars that the Christian Faith is much more of Ancient Greek origin than Judaistic. Helinist tradition is repleat with many "God made man" and "Sacrifical Death and Resurrection" instances. This is to be expected among Humans who deep down know that they will suffer terminal death without any "Afterlife". Religion is part of Human Culture and probably makes Death less frightening. Enjoy life - It's the only one you're getting.

During the Transfiguration Christ appeared in all his glory in front of Peter and John, the Apocalypse shows God on his throne, the glory of the Lamb. We didn't stop at earthly pre-Resurrection Jesus, we believe in Christ the Eternal Kings and Priest who'll come again to judge the living and the dead, modest and simple life is one thing but worshipping God and offering to Him the best is actually biblical, God didn't want deformed lambs as a sacrifice but the most perfect ones
