Bro can you tell me, from where i can learn about, lo paas high pass etc.
I'm in the process of creating a KZread channel and while editing my first video I was getting caught up with finding the right music and audio for my intro. All of this lead me down the rabbit hole of sound design and this was the most impactful one I've watched. I loved how you did a lot more showing than telling, with clips like the temple. Showing how much value and atmosphere sound made to what would otherwise be an uninteresting clip. Absolutely fantastic video!
As motion designer i can say YES! the sound it's too important for the video and the history.
Wow!! Thank you so much for this. “A thing of Beauty is Joy Forever!”
As an experimental producer i value music a ton more than usual users and feels great seeing people out there stating it
This is an outstanding introduction to sound design for web videos! Thank you for posting it. I plan on sharing it with my students!
Love it! Great work! Power to Sound Design & Sound Science! Thanks for sharing and showing how to create the most powerful audiovisual experiences!
Sound is so important! I almost always chose and design a soundtrack before even filming. Helps inspire. Great video and thanks for sharing!

i was on a video about the remaster of AOE2, many nostalgic fanboys say the og are better , while i replied the og were clumsily composed with weird sororities and the new ones were more medieval sounding, and then there's an idiotic guy who came to annoy me . he said that just cause he's a "composer" the og would be made with better talent, which is just plain stupid. he don't tell us how for which studio he worked so i assume he passed himself for a troll with a big vocabulary, with technical words. if he was a composer , he's then incapable to distinguish his own style to decent instrumentation. this was enough for him to get thumbs by naive fanboys. that's why i despise audio designers since then. i dunno why i tell you this but it's very present on my mind.
Thank you guys again! Another very well crafted video on an extremely important topic. And yes, Cee-Roo's videos are amazing!

This was the best video I’ve seen on WHY and WHEN you should add sounds, not just how to use them in your editing tool. Thank you!

Super useful video! Very well explanined. It´s time to dig into sound desing. Sometimes it´s hard to do well all the aspects of a video, and being good at so muchs skills, but we need to do it.

DIDN'T expect my contry Kenya be there but did great work Sound effects is a problem to me too
GREAT content Keep it up FTF buddy 👌 i just subscribed and I'll follow your journey
So helpful man ! I would like to ask you what levels of db you using for sound effects and for the music? Because i have the same problem as you said that people are not recognised the SFX in the videos bcs its too low. I try to use like -6db for music a -3 for SFX but still its not a result i like. Thanks!
@DreamDuoFilms
4 жыл бұрын
Usually we tone it down to -5 or -10 db for most SFX, however, sometimes you dont have to do anything to the levels. Its soo hard to explain, I'd reconmend editing your videos on 60-70% of the value and then check it on the phone after rendering it to see whether you can notice the sound effects or not (on phones also try to listen to it at around 60-70% volume) 😊 Its that kind of a thing where you jusy get used to it and then will be able to do it naturally without any problems
Thanks boss The name again
Thank you DreamDuo Films. Do you add your SFX after you add your theme music score?
@DreamDuoFilms
4 жыл бұрын
Usually we first choose music because sometimes music itself changes the mood of the video, thus changing our choice of sound effects
Nice bro
can you suggest best courses for sound design and audio mixing for films
❤
Hi, how loud should sound design be? I use Essential Sounds panel to keep audio d ucking to dialogue at -18db. How low should SFX be in relation to music, dialogue, and both? Thanks
good video
Bro you have edited the sounds of Kenya but how dis that sound effects came into your mind that I have to use that sound effects into that video please tell me the full concept of sound where to ise it properly
Girl in thumbnail has her headphones on backwards I know because I am wearing the same ones right now
Where do you Admin get the sound effects?
where is this temple sitiuated and what is it called? Plese do answer this, I want to visit this place
how do u get the music to be original and unique if there is no sound track. Are there music tract libraries one can get music from. I don't mean artist music, just neutral and unique music?
sound design ,, sound mixing was same or different
Thank you!. I'm a beginner and I needed this video so much. + is there any free sites where you can get sound effects for free?

awesome video! quick note - calling what you're doing as 'sound design' is a bit of a stretch at best - its more 'sound effects editing'. sound design is a whole craft in itself that goes far deeper than what is being shown here... but props for taking your audio seriously!
