Yunus Elabid hey, I've been playing basketball for 14 years now and I can give you some advice that I hope will help. What I've been taught and found to work for me is that your form for your three point shot should be the exact same as any other shot whether it's a mid range or a free throw. The only difference is in order to gain more power you need to speed up your shot. To do this, you need to spring up faster out of the squat position. You will find that doing this will cause you to jump higher (hence more power). So when you are not getting enough power on your shot just remind yourself to jump higher. Now a CRUCIAL thing to remember here is to make sure you stay in CONTROL. in order to maintain control you must do two things: 1. get the ball up to your release point by the time you are at the bottom of your squat position before you explode up 2. because the ball is moving up faster to your release spot and because you are springing up faster, you will need to release the ball earlier (so follow through earlier than you think you need to). if you do not release the ball fast enough you will lose the power created from your legs and you will end up using your arms to throw the ball which is not very consistent and CONSISTENCY is KEY. I hope this helped! if you have any more questions or would like me to explain anything more in depth just let me know.

Lethal Shooter I have this bad habit of me and that is whenever I shoot, whether it's in a public place or private place, I always worry about the people watching me. Whenever I'm in the driveway and I hear a car pass by my street, I always think too much and I miss so many shots. I play the PF and C position but my coach tells me to let the ball fly, but in games I never shoot outside the paint because I'm scared of people watching me and thinking that I'm not good. Is there anything I could do to fix this and if anyone could respond with a good answer I would appreciate that very much.

Prathik Gadiraju Listen, it's all in your head, I was the same way when I was just starting, but I learned that what ever the hell they think of you, if you keep on shooting it, Miss or make, they will respect you for the fact that you will not stop shooting, once I learned that, whenever there was people watching me, I loved it, having them watch me miss it or make it, missing ain't fun in a game, but it happens to the best of us no matter what, Kobe air balled a 3, no body was mad at him because the fact that you didn't pass up the opportunity to take the shot, and that will make them respect you, Steph Curry has airballed plenty of 3s, but it seems like it makes him angry, and so that next game he goes and drops 14 Three pointers in one game, all you have to do is get it out of your head and keep shooting it with all the damn confidence you have in your body, pour that confidence into every single shot you take, and you will succeed, the people "judging" you will look up to you, take it easy bro, get a crowd of people to sit and watch you take shots, let that sink in, get used to it, and your going to the NEXT LEVEL.
@nathang9034

Prathik Gadiraju keep practicing your shot and make it muscle memory. Also remember, it’s your game, not their's. Don’t pay attention to them, only to the court

Prathik Gadiraju keep practicing your shot and make it muscle memory. Also remember, it’s your game, not their's. Don’t pay attention to them, only to the court
I have a serious problem with my right hand thumb (Im a left-handed shooter ) . I know my mechanics are good , other than always using my thumb which sometimes causes bad shots even air balls . I wanted to ask If there's a way to fix it ? Thanks for the videos , they've been very helpful so far !

Lamarcus Booqueefius Jr not true. Curry and Kyrie, both great shooters, have thumb flicks. However, it is true that it is harder to master.
Do you video about the arc of the shot
