God’s action was neither deceptive nor morally coercive. Giving false prophecies is exactly what false prophets like to do. So, there is no coercion by God in inducing them to ply their trade. The sovereign God so ordered the circumstances that these evil men would, by their own free will, utter false prophecies that would reveal their true character and lead to their eventual doom. It is because they did not love the truth that God gave them over to error and its eventual consequence, destruction (see 2 Thes. 2:10-11).

The context of Ezekiel 14:1-9 shows that the deceived prophet has already set up Idols and stumbling blocks in his heart and he is made to speak his deception so he can be made example of what happens to a false prophet when he addresses Ysreal. Ezekiel clearly shows that YHWH is addressing false prophets who have already set up idols and stumbling blocks in his heart. And then it clearly states that prophet is then cut off from Ysreal AFTER he addresses Ysreal with false prophecy. Mohamad isnt even a prophet of Ysreal, let alone a prophet in general and he was cut off for decieving the muslim world through sickness in death. While Christ knew He had to be crucified in order to show the inherant evil of mankind but also so that He would be trusted by those who will truly follow Him by doing miracles of healing in His true name YAHUWSHUWA. Shabir doesn't get it. Many people have their perspective for what happened when jesus was alive whic is much like an Auto accident with 2 drivers and 14 witnesses that all have different vision levels or hearing abilities . The Police Officer shows up after that actual crash and will have their report which has some of it retro-actively via witnesses. Now....let's take that same accident from the islamic narrative where the quran is unchanged and from allah . Muhamad isn't even at the accident scene or talked to witnesses. But....allah recounts everything about it via his Messenger in a cave to come up with 1 version that can't be questioned and can never be changed even after Muhamad dies. Arul had pointed out that there are about 30 versions of the car accident that allah gave to Muhamad for the true account right from the crash to the last witness.....even when allah said it can't be changed and his Words will not change either . The Bible is mainly a record of an historical event where the event doesn;t change but the telling if it can be changed for a cultural issue or langauge adjustment . Shabir is debating from a point of ignorance as do most of the Dawah group members that get their version of the Bible from ignorant Imams that can only produce ignorant followers . If every bible was burned and every church razed....Christians would keep the faith and follow the example of jesus because the New Testament was written after the faith was existing as an account to confirm what you knew to read all of the event and claims. God deceived the false prophets to prove that they aren't saying the truth. It was like a test because if they were true prophets they would have not been deecevied and passed the test. Like when God told Ezekiel to eat unclean animals Ezekiel said he couldn't that was God testing him or like the prophet in Kings who was told by God not to eat anything but when someone offered him food he ate.

The Qur’an features Moses’ confrontations with Pharaoh 27 times in the first 89 of its 114 chapters. However, not even once in the exodus saga accounted in the Quran is there any mention of the Passover. Readers of both the Bible and the Qur’an soon find out that although there are passages in the Qur’an that refer to the laws of Moses (directly as well as indirectly), the subject of sacrificial law, the offerings, and their purpose has been avoided. The Qur’an completely ignored the tenth sign God gave Moses, stating that God “had certainly given Moses nine evident signs” and then, tongue in cheek and in the same breath, tells the reader to go and “ask the Children of Israel” (Sura 17:101). The tenth sign, the Passover, is when God declared a death penalty against all firstborns in the entire land of Egypt, regardless of ethnic background. The Israelites were also under this death threat. There was only one way the firstborn sons could be spared the angel of death. If the families obeyed God’s command to sacrifice a Passover lamb and placed some of the blood on the doorframes of their homes (Exodus 11-12), their firstborns would be safe. On that night, every firstborn child of the Egyptians died. The Israelite children were spared because the blood of the Passover lambs had been placed on the doorframes of their houses. According to the Bible, it was the tenth plague that marked the turning point in Pharaoh’s relentless resistance to letting God’s people leave. After the Passover, he finally agreed to let the Israelites go free. This illustrates the story of redemption, the central theme of the Bible. Through Adam’s fall we lost our spiritual relationship with God. The Passover Lamb is a picture of the task and process to bring us back to God, which would become complete in Jesus as our Passover lamb. Elsewhere in the Bible we are told, “For even Christ our Passover lamb is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast…” (1 Corinthians 5:7-8) Although the Qur’an has around 90 verses about Jesus, it presents a Jesus who, although is the word of God, is only a prophet who did not die on the cross. Muslims believe Jesus was bodily taken into heaven and that one day, he will be back and turn all Christians and Jews to Islam. Since Muhammad denied the death of Jesus on the cross (Sura 4:157-158), he thus purposely avoided mentioning the Passover, which foreshadowed Christ as the atonement for those who would believe in him. Jesus is the fulfillment of what the Torah presents (Matthew 5:17; Luke 24:44). For believers in Jesus, it is so important to understand that Jesus is the Passover lamb who saves us from our sins (John 1:29, Isaiah 53, Psalm 22 Christ was crucified at Passover, as an eternal sin atonement, and The Passover Lamb, being eaten for one, symbolised Christ righteousness partaken of, as in communion, whilst the Blood over the Doorposts from the Passover Lamb symbolized and foreshadowed the shed blood of Christ for a believer's sins to seal them in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 13:8 and 21:27, we find the references to the "Lamb's book of life," in which also are the names of all those who have been washed by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. The Lamb who has been “slain from the creation of the world” has a book in which are written all those who have been redeemed by His sacrifice. They are the ones who will enter the Holy City, the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:10) and who will live forever in heaven with God. Since the book of life is that which records all who have eternal life through the Lamb, it’s clear that the book of life and the Lamb’s book of life are one and the same.

@jay jay PBWY. You are entitled to your opinions. Please do confirm for us the following - "... I the Lord have deceived him..." Question does the Bible state that God deceives?

@jay jay PBWY. Nice try but the difference is that we are talking about the Creator and whether the Creator directly deceives. We would also point out that the issue is not who was or is deceived but who the deceiver is. Back to you.

@jay jay PBWY. Please do enlighten us - Does God deceive in the Bible as stated in EZ 14:9? A simple question. The rest of your post contains mere accusations which are already unfounded so we will not bother with them.
