Thank you so much for celebrating and explaining some of the artwork of Mary Blair. I first started learning about her because I was always drawn to her work. After doing some investigating, I was able to find out a smart and talented woman named Mary Blair was in charge. Her artistic style and use of color is also evident at Its a Small World at Disneyworld. She must have been a very interesting person to rise to the position she did back in those days.

The best Mary Blair revival came in the late 90s. This is a new generation that really has no idea about the magic of her work, and just wants to use the fact that she was female to prop up girl power crap. If any of these people had a clue how Mary died, maybe they’d stop acting as though she was this unstoppable empowered woman artist at Disney back then. It’s very sad what became of her.

I will always remember Mary Blair for making the children designs on It's A Small World.
