Apparently animals in this story can understand human language: 1) Roquefort found out what happened to the kittens when watching Edgar show Frou Frou the newspaper. 2) Towards the end, Thomas O'Malley eavesdrops on Edgar when Edgar is telephoning a baggage company, then he can understand what Edgar is saying as Edgar locks Duchess and the three adorable kittens in a truck so he can ship them to Timbuktu, and his response is "No way!" As Edgar closes the trunk after Roquefort unlocks it, when Edgar says "You're going to Timbuktu if it's the last thing I do!" the alley cats respond with "No way!" by starting to fight Edgar and tie him up. Frou Frou apparently has a "No way!" attitude in this scene.

Dammit, Disney, you made Frou Frou too pretty!! She's downright attractive.

Well, apparently in this story, animals can understand human language, because Roquefort found out what happened to Duchess and the three adorable kittens from watching Edgar show Frou Frou the newspaper article. Maybe they were too afraid to speak up.

Apparently the humans can hear the animals speak when they talk in their animal voices: 1) With Edgar gone, Madame asks the kittens if they should keep Thomas O'Malley in the family, and in animal language, the kittens answer yes, and Madame can understand what they're saying. In real life, if you're getting a second pet and asked a pet who had been in the family before you "Shall this pet join the family?" the pet who had been there first wouldn't know yes or no. 2) When Edgar tries to ship the kittens to Timbuktu, Thomas O'Malley is using animal language to say "No way!" when he starts jumping on Edgar. Frou Frou is using animal language to tell Edgar the same thing when she won't even let the trunk out of her stable. And Scat Cat and his gang of alley cats are using animal language to respond to Edgar's last line of the story with "No, they're not!" In this scene, Edgar fights the animals because he wants to win. That shows the animals can hear the humans speak.

Edgar it's a Disney movie and you just admitted everything to the animals, you might as well have bragged about being the catnapper in front of the police.

The Aristocats is a bad film, but it has its moments, like this one.

When Miss Fru Fru and Mr Roquefort discovered Edgar true colours, they felt betrayed and disgusted at his horrible greed actions just like, I was because when Edgar reviled that he was the cat napper they were saying through there minds so your our target villain person we were looking for we can't believe it because you tell the look on, Miss Fru Fru face when she gave that mad at 0:50 didn't she and Mr Roquefort said so he's the cat napper after because they couldn't believe it was someone close to Madame when they discovered it but unfortunately it was and they had to accept it whether they like it or not right guys but Edgar let his greediness dark side get the better of him and he did it and there was nothing to do to change him around wasn't there right guys!
