The Arch to Treasure (Spanish Trail Marker & Ancient Indian Pictograph's)

Its sad and unfortunate to see our history being destroyed like this by careless and thoughtless people. It's now more important than ever, to document sites like this. I'm glad Daniel Lowe took the time to take pictures of this site, or it's image would have been lost forever.

Bullets holes in the petroglyphs: Offensive Insultive Ignorant destruction. So few records have we of them. Thank you for filming these sites.

Over my lifetime, I have saw entire petroglyph sites removed by careless individuals. They rob them to sell on the black market, or take home as souvenirs. Thats why I believe it is important to document these sites and preserve for future generations. Thank you for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

Thanks Nick. I'm really pissed about the Arch. Makes me sick when the "crazies" do this stuff.

Glad you liked the video. I've seen treasure sites destroyed, but whoever did this was very meticulous. They not only destroyed it, they completely removed all evidence. Very strange and truly a shame.

It's my understanding it highlighted the eastern portion of the Uinta Mountains. Probably from Whiterocks Canyon to Dry Fork Canyon. I wish I could have saw it prior to being destroyed and been able to study it.

I know a guy name Daniel Lowe, he has done quite extensive research on the Spanish Explorers of the Uinta's. He has a website with some cool articles you might enjoy.
