Jonah wasn’t worried about his ability to warn Nineveh, but he actually did not like the people of Nineveh. That is why he tried to avoid the task God gave him. Plus, he thought that Nineveh would repent and then God would not destroy them. He even preached a message other than what God told him to preach. And then when Nineveh repented and God spared the city, Jonah got angry with God.

People, please do not be deceived by those always claiming (or asking) "is this a sign?". Just always be prepared, knowing that the time has been near for a while. I can literally link any current event, or celestial position(s) to Jonah. I've seen people doing it for over a decade! All of them seeking clicks, or fancying themselves prophets. However, if not even the Son of God knows when. What level of hubris does a person have to have to assume they could know "when". If your soul is in Christ and the Spirit in you. The sign of Jonah is Jesus who spent 3 days and nights in the belly of the earth like Jonah did in the belly of the whale and has nothing to do with a whale constellation. Furthermore it does matter that one person claims seven cities named Ninevah on the path of the eclipse where there are actually two. The Mark of the Beast is also at a specific time, Mid Trib, and is a specific event. This eclipse does have some interesting features in that it crosses the path of the one in 2017 but more concerning is that in 1811 and 1812 when a solar eclipse occurred, it triggered the New Madrid Fault line with three large earthquakes. Will that happen again? Many more people live near that fault line today. Will the Mississippi run backwards again? This would be a catastrophe. It's a shame it would take a catastrophe of this magnitude to wake people up to the nearness of Christ's return. I wish more people spent time wisely learning prophesy from the Bible rather than looking for events sensationalized by all forms of media. This country needs to repent whether there is an eclipse, an earthquake or a whale swallowing beast on the loose.

Sabbath means holy day there is the weekly 7th day of rest holy day and the 7 feast of the LORD holy days or Sabbaths. 52 weekly Sabbaths + 7 high sabbaths = 59 sabbaths per year unless one of the high sabbaths falls on a weekly sabbath. Jesus died on a wensday because passover was on Thursday and so he had to be off the cross by wensday evening because Thurs starts at sundown. He was dead and buried Thurs Fri and Sat. Like Jonah buried for 3 days and 3 nights.

In the later part of the sixties a Filipino fisherman fell overboard off of his boat, which was a part of a larger fleet of fishing boats. His crew tried to rescue him but failed. Three days later, another boat in the fleet caught a large shark. When the shark was pulled aboard and gutted, the fisherman who fell overboard was discovered alive in the stomach of the shark. He was badly burnt by the acids in the shark's stomach, blistered and bleached, but still alive. The fishermen asked a pescatologist how the man could have survived for over seventy hours in the shark. He told them that the shark swallows air frequently in order to not roll over, and it was this air pocket which kept the fisherman alive. I suggest that Jonah had this happen to him, and the reason that the people of Nineveh repented was because of the sight of Jonah, horror stricken by his ordeal, and bleached and blistered by the time spent in the shark's belly. The people of Nineveh didn't need an eclipse. This story was reported in the LA Times circa 1967-8.

The adversary always produces counterfeits of things that are true. Counterfeits are for one of two reasons. 1. To pass off the counterfeit as the true item. 2. To create so many copies of the true item that it is devalued or ignored. A view on all of the nonsense claims about this eclipse, and there are a lot of them, can be viewed as evidence that this eclipse is a sign. Since when has this level of fervor happened about a total solar eclipse? They occur every 18 to 19 months or so. Why so much attention to this one? I am convinced this eclipse along with the Aug 21, 2017, Dec 14, 2020, and the Oct 14, 2023 are signs in the heavens. They mark a period of preparation that is rapidly coming to an end and the beginning of the calamities foretold by prophets ancient and modern. Polarization and separation will increase as will destruction and deliverance. Hearts will be softened, hearts will be hardened. Astounding miracles in missionary work and conversion to truth will occur. Those who are prepared will have an incredible opportunity to help those who are fearful and do not understand what is happening. Do not ignore the council we have received from our prophets, seers, revelators.

The eclipse will take place on the biblical New Moon of the first biblical month. We will be counting 14 days until Passover and then after the first day of Passover we will count 7 weekly 7th day sabbaths (49 days) starting with the first sabbath that follows Passover. The next day after is the day of Shavuot or Pentecost. Pentecost means (count 50). This is when all Israel as well as the Erve Rav (Great Multitude) who came out of Egypt with Israel, made THE covenant with YHVH God. Malachi 4 states to remember the Law of Moses before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. We have been told over and over by pastors to forget the Law of Moses. Things are about to change.

I was hesitant to click on this video that randomly came up, and my Google feed; but it’s actually quite balanced. I appreciate the empirical look at the data from both perspectives. What I believe people are feeling, seeing, is the fulfillment of Matthew chapter twenty four. But since they’re not aware of that text, and or, don’t understand its meaning, or the modern application, they find a way to define what they’re seeing and feeling, and that’s manifested as conspiracies and other hallucinations.

Well done! One thing I don’t fully get is how Jonas was a sign to the Ninevites when they didn’t witness Jonas being h swallowed up or spat out. I would assume there was a sign in the heavens that was a second witness to them. The numbers matter less than the fact it is enough to call mortal man’s attention to it. Jonas name means dove which is a symbol of peace and that has been a theme for me personally even before President Nelson invited us to be Peacemakers. I think the Lord is simply delivering a range of signs for a range of people. I don’t see it as a “He’s here!” Sign but rather that he is near and giving last warnings. It is an evidence that his hand is in it and this is not an arbitrary event.

Read 2 chapters in Bible that are the same, 2 Kings 19 and Isaiah 37! 1189 chapters in God's Holy Bible and 2 are identical, showing the import of these verses!

I decided to check your work a bit, because I wasn't fully convinced everyone who bandies this about is being dishonest or deliberately inflammatory. I agree that these eclipses are not to be taken beyond the words of the scriptures and that people are stretching the scriptures to force these eclipses into a type of "Second Coming Immediacy" narrative. However, the Nineveh subject should be addressed. I checked and people aren't talking about major cities, but population sub-centres of larger municipal divisions. I didn't count 8 on my check but 17. 4 are in the path of totality and an additional 3 in a path that is predicted to have >99% obfuscation. The rest have, predictably, much lower percentages of obfuscation (

How can any of you believe that this eclipse is a sign of his second coming? His second coming is at the end of the Great Tribulation. He comes FOR us before Tribulation begins, and then he comes WITH us at the end of the 7 years. Please show me scripture that points to his second coming, that evolves around this eclipse. 🙏 ❤

The Lord uses signs in the sky to communicate to us. Judgements often come from this kind of sign. There are many prophecies coming to pass starting with the Fig-tree generation when Israel became a nation.

Why would anyone name their town Nineveh?

North Texas and Arkansas just had very bad storms. Tougher than previous years.

In 2017, I wrote a book on Biblical Astronomy featuring Revelation chapter 12. While I am skeptical about this "bird's eye view" spread out over many years (ooh, the magic number 7)... I can say that God does use the Sun, Moon and stars to fulfill actual prophecy. During the last of the 4 Blood Moons, which ended in 2015, my minivan caught on fire in the middle of Interstate 5, just outside of Grants Pass, Oregon. As I was standing in front of my vehicle, beating the flames out, two semi trucks came around the corner side by side. One of them had to veer into the on-ramp and go around me at about 40 miles an hour. I had just looked up at the Blood Moon and said, (thinking I might die) "What do you want from me, God?" (The truck roared past) "Do you want me to watch the moon?" So, having survived that harrowing experience, I began watching the moon migrate over the next 30 days, and it started heading towards the feet of Virgo, as the Sun was on her shoulder. This made me think of Revelation chapter 12, "The Virgin, clothed with the Sun, the moon at her feet and a crown of 12 stars on her head.". And the news was reporting a "star of Bethlehem" conjunction at that time. But I couldn't make sense of it. Something wasn't right. Where was this crown? And what was the dragon? So, I got on a computer and used a star gazing software to wind the stars forward - and THAT'S when I found an event two years in the future that fulfilled all the words in Revelation 12. Word for word. Over the next two years, I researched and wrote a book about the massive alignment that fulfilled the prophecy. Also, God allowed me to identify not only the crown, but also the dragon. When the event (which was proceeded by the 2017 eclipse, 30 days before it - so, eclipses apparently say, "Pay attention to what is about to happen in the stars") When the event happened, and my friends all left, I was out in a field, talking to God, like, "Why can't we see the whole thing across the sky? Why do I only see Virgo as she sets and Leo as he rises?" That's when I heard the voice of God (that still small voice that you KNOW is not your own, but you know it speaks 100% truth). He told me, "This (Virgo) is the church going away. And This (Leo rising) is the Kingdom of Christ coming." Yes! It crossed over 7 cities of Salem.

Here is what I think might be recorded about our day: 1 On the twenty and first day of the month of August in the year 2017, the Lord sent a sign in the heavens, a total solar eclipse crossing the entire promised land as a sign of warning to the gentile nations and as a sign of judgements that were upon the land. 2 On the twenty and third day of the month of September in that same year, 2017, was shown in the heavens the sign of the woman, that all saints, who were upon the face of the earth might know, by this sign, that the time was soon coming that the woman, or the church, should flee into the wilderness to be protected from the face of the serpent. 3 And it came to pass that the Spirit of the Lord wrought upon some of the saints and they began to make preparations against a time of trouble. Yea and beginning in the year 2018 the Lord did even cause his prophet to begin to send forth warnings unto the people that the time would soon be upon them and to begin preparing. 4 And according to the words of Isaiah there had been a deep sleep poured out upon the people and the vast majority of the people were unwilling to take the warnings of the Lord to heart as the people had become disconnected from watching for the signs in the heavens and from waiting upon the Lord. For there were, in the land, vast riches and treasures causing the people to depend less and less upon the Lord, to the point that many did very little of their own accord to physically prepare, save they were specifically instructed by the church to do so. 5 And thus were the affairs in the church and in the land of Zion, that the people believed that their prophet would warn them specifically of any danger, for the better part of the people were at ease in Zion and due to their lack of searching the scriptures to understand the signs that were given and the warnings of past prophets, therefore they sought only to hear specific instructions coming from the prophet, thereby not understanding and not receiving the sure word of revelation from God. 6 And so it was that the time was fast approaching when the 2300 days foreseen by the prophet Daniel would come upon them and the saints were not prepared. 7 Therefore, on the eighth day of the month of April in the year 2024, there came again the sign of a total solar eclipse crossing the entire promised land as a further sign of warning and judgements, it being in the beginning of the seventh year since the first sign appeared. To comment properly on these signs one must first study the significance and apply that knowledge to the events that are happening. To understand the events that are happening we must believe and obey the principles taught in the Book of Mormon and then seek for additional understanding which will be given to us upon our sincere and honest efforts. Interestingly enough the revelation which was sealed up was in fact the events from the creation until the end of the earth. That includes a greater understanding of the events in our day. The Lord said He would try the faith of the saints. This is the key to unlocking the “secrets of the universe”, a teaching of Boyd K. Packer to which President Nelson referred in April 2018. May the Lord bless each of us as we seek truth and knowledge at His hand. Please prepare in earnest. We talk a lot about being spiritually prepared. If you haven’t got the message we need both. “… I urge you to take steps to be temporally prepared. But I am even more concerned about your spiritual and emotional preparation. … we can learn a lot from Captain Moroni. As commander of the Nephite armies, he faced opposing forces that were stronger, greater in number, and meaner. So, Moroni prepared his people in three essential ways. First, he helped them create areas where they would be safe-“places of security” he called them. Second, he prepared “the minds of the people to be faithful unto the Lord.” And Third, he never stopped preparing his people-physically or spiritually. The eclipse will take place on the biblical New Moon of the first biblical month. We will be counting 14 days until Passover and then after the first day of Passover we will count 7 weekly 7th day sabbaths (49 days) starting with the first sabbath that follows Passover. The next day after is the day of Shavuot or Pentecost. Pentecost means (count 50). This is when all Israel as well as the Erve Rav (Great Multitude) who came out of Egypt with Israel, made THE covenant with YHVH God. Malachi 4 states to remember the Law of Moses before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. We have been told over and over by pastors to forget the Law of Moses. Things are about to change.
