Akshay knew he was gonna get booted, he was project manager on this task and he flopped and was on the losing side too many times.

@@Espiritu_de_Obiwon but I don’t think he was to blame for the failure of this task. Stephanie made 2 errors, the swearing for one, but she also fluffed the negotiation of the 💍. So should have been Stephanie who got fired, not akshay.

That’s what made it strange for lord sugar to fire Akshay rather than Stephanie. And if that wasn’t controversial Enough, then look at who was fired in the next task. For me, Stephanie got away with it once too often, it was her who came up with the first time F””Dies and not Akeem, yet lord sugar somehow thought Akeem was to blame even though it was Stephanie’s idea.

I love how he broke all three of them by saying that 😂😂

To be fair, it's a smart decision. Ask them while they don't know so they can't later turn around and claim it's due to poor leadership once they find out they lost.

Sugar asks how they found the project manager every episode before they find out who won/lost. That's part of the reason why they found it so amusing.

I love his face when he realises he said something funny. Just the realisation and his dorky smile is so funny.

Akshay was the Tommy of this season. He lost a lot but he kept smiling.

Akeem was absolutely terrible how he was the last boy to get sacked I'll never know... he just got lucky with the teams, always had the strongest contestants. Unlike Akshay who was always in the weaker team, despite being a strong contestant.

He honestly started off as an arrogant bastard and I genuinely wanted him to get fired in week 1, but he definitely grew on me and eventually I just wanted to see him win a task and stay in the process.

I hated him at the start and loved him at the end

I like it it’s good initiative in business to be on front foot and also showed leadership skills. Having to wait for sugar to lead everything shows a very beauracratic environment which is why I don’t watch the show anymore. Presents a poor way in how business should not be run and people should really be treated. Apprentice is closer to bloody love island than real life 🤦

Bruh the girls had too much of a racket going this season.

Maybe I'm being a bit dense but why did everyone react like that? Isn't it quite normal for him to ask that sort of question? To me, it looks like he's just trying to get the girls to agree that he did a good job in front of Sir Alan.

Because the whole point of the boardroom is for Alan Sugar to interrogate the candidates with questions like that and Akshay took over and did it himself. Alan Sugar is like the big boss that you're supposed to obey and listen to so they just found it funny that Akshay was oblivious to that and asked himself lol
