I can understand people not liking Gura or Callie, but Ina? There’s nothing to hate about her. It’s impossible to hate her. At worst they're merely indifferent.

Honestly, Ina first year or so never really grabbed me. Aside from being the supreme wizard of Minecraft, she just never seemed to tackle the job assertively enough. Then she had that hiatus of hers and came back, and it's like she immediately found her groove. Became a lot more active and energetic in her streams, seemed so much more invested which made me invested as well. Been subbed since and never regretted that decision.

@@Kiriemy Can confirm, since her debut, I was more into Mori, then half a year after their debut I think it was, I started checking out the others, and stumbled upon the Tako priestess. Stuck around for her puns XD

I was around when the whole Ina's back thing happened, and there's quite a lot more additional context to why it became so huge (just wanted to share, this isn't a critique on the video). I mean, even by vtuber standards this was more thirsty than normal. So, to start off, timeline thanks to Google: that stream was around end Jun 2022. - That stream was the first full off-collab for Myth, after 2 years. Major event for fans, so plenty of eyeballs when it happened. - Ina just came back from a month-long break (might have been the first stream after the break), so her fans were more excited than normal. Plus, "Ina's back" is also a pun for her return, and this is the exact fanbase that would appreciate it. - Cue plenty of fanart. At this point it was a mixed bag of lewd and non-lewd, there were quite a few that looked like classical paintings. 4thWAH was a fan joke but it wasn't a tag yet. - In Oct, she announced an indefinite hiatus due to health reasons. Important to note that another Holo EN vtuber, Sana, just graduated in Jul due to her health problems, most likely due to a back injury. Sana and Ina are childhood friends (they've talked about it on stream) and a lot of viewers who are fans of both were panicking that they might lose another vtuber. Around this time Ina also requested for a tag to separate the lewd art from the regular, and she sort-of approved 4thWAH. - The next few months were... complete silence. Ina didn't just take a break from streaming, it was all vtuber activities, not even a single tweet. All her fans were pining with no end date in sight, worried for her health, hoping for any news from her, fearful that the next news from her would be a graduation announcement. - In this uncomfortable void, the fans poured themselves into drawing fanart of all kinds. Remember, Ina's a comfy awkward streamer with fantastic art skills, she attracts her fair share of artists. The quality of her fanart has always been consistently good. There's plenty of regular lewd fanart too, but her back was basically the only big meme we had about her figure aside from the usual bust size one. It got to the point where people who didn't follow Ina (or vtubers in general) suddenly saw a surge in some very good quality lewds featuring this specific girl and unusually, focusing on her lower back (though a lot of art eventually just went for the butt). - Ina eventually resumed activities in Jan 2023 after 3 months, but by then the meme train had taken over. So before it became an over-stayed meme, the whole Ina's back and 4thWAH was actually kind of sweet. Those fanart were the result of the whole fanbase expressing their support for Ina and how much they missed her.

Well to be fair. Her lore is that she was just a normal girl... AND THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED. Kinda like the person behind Ina. Of all the talent at Hololive, she feels the most like a normal girl just going online to stream, and that's what I like the most about her. It feels a lot more geniune to see someone who was of seemingly minimal consequence making it big and just keep doing what they were doing. A lot of the other girls play into their personalities, that is to say, their character personalities a lot more and worked extra hard to fit the idol lifestyle... or so what forbidden knowledge has spoken to us before. Ame became much more of a gremlin and had the most time as a streamer so everyone looks to her for solutions. Gura became more of a dumb, loveable goofball as an evolution to being a memer. Calli got put into the mainstream in her musical career and as a metaphorical dad. Kiara became much more genki than before to fit the idyllic idol life. But Ina, well she oddly transcended her original design but still remains the humble person as she was before. Of all the changes, she just kept being her... well as much of her she could be as she is now.

3:05 "someone" Friend, that was a collaborative fundraiser by the Tentacult discord and reddit to celebrate her birthday, with the project website being posted to many different platforms

The ending was a bit abrupt but otherwise it's good content. It might be good to always add outros to the videos so people know it's over, I legit thought the site crashed before realizing the video was finished. Something simple like what you did for the Gura video is more than enough.

I find it interesting in a way, though maybe it was a little bit too abrupt, I think it would be interesting for outros to kind of keep the abrupt or brief spirit to it. It could absolutely be turned into some kind of charm point

Its important to understand that the initial "Ina's back" 3d stream was also following her first big hiatus. So it was an "unfortunate" perfect storm of 2 different meanings. One being her backside and the other of her actually being back to streaming.

Ina the priestess of the unknown, the cultish?... Those who found her will be blessed with inner peace and serenity...

I've been watching your videos for sometime now and I still get surprised of the sudden and abrupt end of the video, I just find it hilarious. awesome content tho, I want more background for the other girls too.

good vid, but side note, the Stormblood expansion released 2 Ultimates, and was suppose to be the first idea that there will be 2 ultimates per expansion. on the next expansion after that, there was only 1 ultimate due to covid. just a side note tho, dont mind me.

Yea I've been feeling that there needed to be more detail in this one. As for the ending, I'm planning on fixing that in the next few videos.

It always amazes me how some people can take a meme and flog it well past it's due date, be it Ina's bac, a Deez Nuts joke or whatever. At this point they're either annoying, boring, or just plain well over done you just can't anymore. As for streamers in general, i don't particularly care for the lewd streamer as I tend to think of that as a one trick pony, a comfy streamer is just one of the one's that I tune into in order to just relax, unwind and have fun, be it a VTuber or a Live streamer. I'm not huge on the big gamers where right from the get go it's all about APEX all day every day either, so comfy, and or funny, and i'm all good.

Do you think Ina's aversion to the 4th WAH is also a pun on the 4th Wall and how we as fans and her should not cross that 4th wall for each other's sake? Also the video felt oddly abrupt in how it ended. I think a sign off or closing statement makes for a better experience.
