Isn’t this intriguing? After reading 1 Chronicles 29;29 I realized there are many other books out there i need to look for especially of the Old Testament. I love the New Testament as well but I’m so much in love to understand the life of prophets and the true walk/relationship of a man and God. Religions have lied us and created that big distance between us and our Heavenly Father more than sin. Reading my Bible daily has become my true Joy and brought me more close to my Father in Heaven. How He desires to have a personal relationship with each and everyone of us. God bless you all please read your Bibles u will discover a lot more than what was just told to u.

Christ is not jesus, get that, Jesus is not a servant of God stop speaking about your idols, christ means messiah, a messiah is a messenger of The Creator, wisdom is the words of God for all his words is truth, the Creator knows all which he has only knowledge, and speaks only wisdom, wisdom means christ/annoited/ messiah a messenger sent from the Creator which does the works of righteousness and speak only truth, which is wisdom and wisdom is only righteous because wisdom only can come from God. Probably because this book is a Pharisee leaven. Remember, the Pharisees did remove Cainan from Abraham's lineage from the scriptures. They missed Septuagint and couldn't get their hands on Luke. Halleluyah for the Ruach HaKodesh who guides us into all truth. Yah bless 🙏

One thing bothers me. Abraham talks to God and then tempted by Azazel. Azazel is arguably the most evil of the fallen Watchers; responsible for teaching men war. Is this the devil? I thought Azazel was buried in the African desert of Dudeal during Enochs time for his great evils.

Regarding the watchers, we get the names of the 20 captains of 10s plus Semjaza. Azazel is not overtly stated as being a watcher. Also, the animal parable found in Enoch describes "a single star falling to the earth" before the watchers do. Much of what is written about Azazel in this book identifies him with "the adversary" or "Mastema" or "the devil." The punishment declared to Azazel does not take place immediately, just like the rest of the watchers who have to watch their children kill each other over the next 500 years. It's possible that Azazel has not been bound and cast into the cauldron yet, but in fact will be for a thousand years before being released one final time then thrown into the lake of fire.

He came in His Father's name. Also Angel ends with EL, and then all the names of the angels end with EL: Michael Jaoel Raphael Uriel There are surely more but these are the only I can recall. Then I noticed also Isarel ends with EL

I'm not steeped in the Quran enough to make a whole lot of sense out of it. I try to stay in my lane as much as possible, but it'd be interesting to hear about a higher level in it if it's there. After reading Prophet of Doom, it's tough to see any of it in a positive light.

How do you know this was not originally God's word. Remember the Bible is just a collection of books that was put together hundreds of years after christ. Who decided which books were included? A council of men. Not God. There are many sacred writings and Truth can be found by the discerning reader. Also remember that the book of revelation, where God tells us not to add to the words of this book, (referring specifically to the book of Revelation only) was not the last book written that is included in the bible. Also, a similar reference in Deuteronomy tells us not to add to the words of God,. However this reference refers specifically to the law of Moses.

@@Lutheranjenkins At the council of nicea, the cannon of the church was decided. So there were debates about which books should be included. Some of those notes about those debates are still available. Deciding which books to include came about because of the philosophies of men, not necessarily the doctrine from Jesus Christ. Many books such as the book of Enoch for an example we're widely used and regarded as scripture at that time, but not included in the biblical cannon because it has passages where Enoch goes to heaven and meets God. Since, by the time of the council of nicea, people were beginning to treat God as a being without body parts and passions, and their minds it was impossible for Enoch to go visit God because God doesn't exist in a way Enoch could visit. Therefore the book of Enoch was not included in the bible along with many other records. Was that decision made by a prophet of God? No it wasn't. It was made by a council of men. And those men could have made poor decisions. In other words, there are many books and records that are valuable in studying because in then we can learn truth. Many of these books have interpolations by man. But then again, the Bible has a lot of that too. So personally, I read lots of various records to try and increase my knowledge of God, His gospel, His commandments and His nature so that I can try to be more like Him. When reading these different records, I try to use the the spiritual gift of discernment, Holy Ghost to help me discern the truth. The books of the Bible have been the most important documents throughout history, but they're not the only records of value, and God's word is found in other books too.

Read everything and use that. Or just read the bible. But there is more than just the Bible. Paul spoke those words because at that time many people, especially jews, believe that the law of Moses was all that was necessary and that there was no more words of God. But the heavens were open and God revealed new things to his apostles and prophets. And the same happens today. The heavens are open God speaks to his apostles and Prophets and there is more than just the Bible. So take Paul's advice and seek for truth and test everything.

I used to believe this as well. But then you have to throw out all the times Jesus mentions His father testifying of Him and being greater.
