Hey!! Solo gamedev of Horror Tales The Beggar here. Thanks for playing the game (and The Wine too!!) and specially thanks for not hurting the little wolf :_) If anyone is seeing this comment, the drone will return in Iron Reich. I know it is not your usual horror game, but I hope you all had fun seeing Insym playing it. The Wine was the traditional horror, The Beggar is the experimental one. Iron Reich will be a Half-Like. Big hug to everyone!

Very well done! Looks amazing. Only thing I'd say/ recommend is making multiple cycles Probably took insanely long like this already, but maybe having multiple paths and/ or having multiple cycles in which you can parkour in between objects at multiple day/night cycles Cuz now it feels kinda repetitive Go from point A (night) to point B (day) to change platforms after 1 min of looking around and then go to point C (night)

Very creative game. It reminded me of how my dreams usually look, with the shattered world and daylight not being consistent/changing daylight if I want, as well as the "turn around and things change" trick that always happens in my dreams. It made me think about how cool it would be to make a dream simulator game where logic kinda breaks but still works like in a dream. Sort of like that movie "Inception" where you could control the dream reality but it still had "dream" rules.

Looking forward to seeing the next game in the series! Glad there are more people (yourself included) making stuff, the wine and the begger were both excellent story driven games. They both have great world building as well! Good job on the things you made!

The implication that you're turning the entire planet when you're doing the daytime to nighttime shift is insane. That's so much mass, and the earth is already spinning at a certain speed, so if it were to say, go the opposite direction suddenly, the world would further destruct because of the roughly 1000 mph whiplash 😂

Certain parts of the world do get moons that big. Even here in Southern CA in the United States. Around 'harvest moon' time in fall we can get VERY large moons. However, they do NOT last all night. They appear unusually large when close to the horizons, then shrink down to their usual sizes throughout the night as they orbit through. I'm not a scientist so I have no idea why it does that, but I can confirm they do appear here as I've described.

Slight correction. Solar panels work with light and not heat. It can be 100 C but they won't be effective without light. That's why they work better with snow for example although it is cold

  • @jasonwolf5012

They only work in snow very good in the sun because copper conducts better in cold weather.

Yes, solar panels work better in light and cold as opposed to light and heat, they're actually very ineffective when they get too hot. Batteries on the other hand like heat to a certain degree so if you're using solar in the snow then you have to spend some of that electricity to keep the batteries nice and toasty.

I loved how the puzzles were implemented in this game although not unique yet it was so creative especially with the implementation of the time setting switch, the world detail was pretty cool, it gave me Only Up/Chained Together vibes with some of the platforming. Loved the game, so enjoyable. Thank you for the content. Have a great one 😎

I’ve 100% seen the moon that big before. Bigger even. A lot bigger. in Colorado one night while I was on vacation It took up a GIANT chunk of the horizon and was like BRIGHT orange. I looked it up and it has something to do with the moisture in the atmosphere acting as a magnifying glass to make it look absolutely gigantic to a concerning degree. It was to this day one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen

this game is really unique, and the power was so creative and if you think about it really powerfull. you can control the weather and also move earth crust to noon or night. if there are really people who can do this in the real world, they will became the world most powerfull person or most wanted people.

It's easy to differentiate between Chinese and Japanese writing. Chinese is very square and usually look like little houses or something. Japanese is curvy but also has Chinese characters as part of their alphabet but you will notice ち and の a lot and they're very easy to remember Japanese characters. Classic Chinese architecture on the other hand is very curvy and pointy. They like to use circles and curves but classic Japanese houses are very square and angular although they both like roof tiles a lot.
