Babasaheb Ambedkar is obviously the greatest personality of 20th century India. His knowledge, perseverance for social justice and contribution to build a secular India makes him undoubtedly a towering figure whose relevance will go on for decades to come.

Benegal Narsing Rao was the one who collected most info and gave it all to the Constituent assembly and Ambedkar Does any one know who he was? No He was forgotten

B.Narasing Rao wast the main reason for constitution. Heard of him? He traveled all over the world and submitted to the Constituent assembly his papers. Ambedkar took his summary. They praised Ambedkar because he was sc and to make him fell better. He was good but not that great as they say. There were so many people. Most importantly he was power hungry. He told lies about Hinduism. Especially Manu. Tell me what is wrong with Manu. Have you ever read that? Ambedkar burnt Manu just to be come famous. He was good for some things but did a lot of damage. Most importantly he never really helped scs and never helped them with their dirty habits. Do you know Mahars went to court when some other caste people disposed off dead cows. Courts said only mahars had to do that!

Thank you for uploading this. It was so insightful. Caste is so ever-present in Hinduism, it traveled with my family. This book was so important in staying resolute in seeing how pervasive it is in the religion itself. This brought a lot of clarity, lots to ponder and act on.

He was a true genius!

India needed social reform before political independence. Since it did not happen first 1/3 India was cut to become Pakistan. The other social issues still hold its true potential. Plus the ongoing standoff with Pakistan will also hamper it's true potential. Jinnah was social reformer but he was brushed off by Congress party.

It should be remembered the mahars in Maharashtra ( caste Ambedkar belonged to) went to court when some other caste fellow removed a dead cow! They won the court case that only they had the right to the dead cow! Manual scavenging is banned but in villages they go begging for work!

These people need education into hygiene and values.
