I've seen the opposite man, like it's been everywhere on other stuff. (like if you're in a community that knows it, you're all in the know) and the comment on the hashira training arc being all of s4, it'd be goofy if they made the season cover only nine chapters, it'd also probably include the arc after it, which is pretty cool. (think of it like how JJK s2 covered Shibuya and Hidden inventory)

I liked s1 minus the way the demon backstories played out. It was a simple story seen in everything that came prior, but it was one I loved. Yuki Kajiura helps. I’m a sucker for everything she composes. Didn’t care for Mugen Train movie or the season 2 content. I’m kinda still in the middle of s2. The Entertainment District arc. I’m just not really a fan of the short arcs (6-7 episode arcs) and the Hashira. Agree, all I care about is the Tanjiro and Nezuko story. I guess I kinda thought the same about Bleach as well. I didn’t care for the Captains so it makes sense I don’t like the Hashira. I don’t think DS is dead. I just haven’t really been paying attention to it. It is still massively popular with everyone I know. Even non-anime fans or more casual fans.

Unrelated but I think you'd absolutely love Re:Zero. It's been on a hiatus but the light novel the anime is based on has quite a lot of content to go through. AOT and Re:Zero were one of the first animes that actually kept me thoroughly invested. I need to do a rewatch soon but it has a similarly like dark tone I suppose. It's main gimmick is very interesting as are it's effects on the main characters actions but if you haven't watched it I'd rather not spoil it accidentally.

Ngl Demon Slayer is just shallow, I know the story cannot be compared to the likes of Vinland Saga and Attack on Titan but with JJK in the mix, it's kinda hard not to look at Demon Slayer's weak side. Even tho Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen are basically just Shonen Fight Porn, JJK executed it much better. Each character have special ability, distinctive chracter trait and their own story line. One thing about demon slayer is that we only get Tanjiro's story most of the time and the other chracters are boring even including the main villan Muzan himself, all we get from him is a few temper tantrum and him killing random civilians. The story is too centered around Tanjiro. JJK is just much better than Demon Slayer and with JJK as a new standard, it's hard to see Demon Slayer meet our expectation.

Idk if you’ve seen on the channel but as a JJK Stan. Yeah big agree. I’m working on a huge JJK season 2 video and it’s just bar brief periods during season 2 of demon slayer. It just never gets close to the peaks of JJK. I just lack any connection to anyone.

Is it possible the marketing dept. just didnt have money to advertise the film? surely the hype is still there

I don’t know. They’ve dropped one trailer and it did nothing for me. Just have seen legit nothing for this. The movie came out already in Japan and if this was jJK tbh e entire thing woulda been spoiled already and gone trending World wide.

The writing in this anime is bad But for some reason it’s enjoyable in the first & second session, the third session was trash

I always thought this show was boring. I fell asleep so many times trying to watch it. I never got the hype and asked people when it got good. I honestly prefer fairy tale or just rewatch naruto with filler.

@DareToEntertain I really didn't. Mugen train was stupid imo (regoku fight was cool tho) and the second season was just annoying. The fights are overrated, so much plot armor. Tanjiro is an annoying mc. The show just fails to make me care about anything that's going on lol. It's a shame because early on in season 1 I thought it was gonna be the next great shonen

The fact this video bombed too means just no one wants to talk about it at all. Every video for the past 2 years has done well. Tried demon slayer and nup. No one here. So strange. At this point JJk > demon slayer all the way
