Pilot here. It’s all funny and all, but the controllers attitude isn’t helping the case. The first guy just needed to be told “hold your position” until they know that the gate is good to go and the other guy with the “uhhh” response was confused as to what to say bc it’s not his job to determine who goes first. That’s the controllers job.

I enjoyed this one. Listening now seems entertaining, but it must've been stressful as it was happening in real time. I'm not sure if I'd want to be a passenger in those moments.

The reasonably frustrated air traffic controllers is a better title.

ATC isn't being rude, they're being stern for the purposes of safety....Pilots must have command of the English language
