I will say this, The Angels are not using advanced analytics (like Machine Learning) in each and every game. This is why the Angels always do well in the beginning of the season and then historically fail.

This team should just call themselves The Los Angeles Fallen Angels of Anaheim at this point

Felt u in being so excited when we were up 3-0… told myself no more building urself up on saving the season it just equals pain but I did it again

Might as well just have Ohtani pitch relief on days he’s not on the mound. Should silence those who say he’s not the MVP.

I am so disappointed. There was so much to look forward to this year. Desperate to see a winning season this year, but that hope is quickly fading,

The Halos are never good enough to buy but aren’t bad enough to sell either💁.It’s a tough situation so just gotta stay positive and not worry about winning so much as just having fun watching the team

My friend, you sounded so depressed, I felt more sorry for you than the Angels team….

In Japan a lot of people including myself are cheering for Angels and Ohtani, but there also is a phrase that has been in the trend for the past few days which is ”なおエ” meaning “Yet the Angels…..”. And I also read today that the word “なおエ” is evolving to “もちエ” meaning “Of course the Angels…”. I hope they reach some kind of turning point soon.

I've been hoping for the same thing for the past decade...

I grew up a Pirates fan. We had some success with the killer B's (Barry Bonds, Bobby Bonilla) but were perennial losers for 20 years + after that. I was living in Philadelphia in the late 2000s (2007-2011 era) so I got to see a home team win some world series and some quality players like Cliff Lee and Chase Utley. So last year, I liked Shohei Ohtani because he was such a unicorn, and they have Mike Trout so I thought, I'll be an Angels fan, how bad can it be?

I will always be a Angels fan but this team disgusts me. This team is a lifeless team and I will keep treating them like one. My Anaheim Ducks were bad last year, we often looked lifeless at times, and we do have a mediocre head coach in Dallas Eakins. Even though I often made rage videos at times about the Anaheim Ducks when we played this poorly, at least we have young talent who are fun to watch like Trevor Zegras and Troy Terry. The Angels have nobody besides Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani and if they ask for a trade, I wouldn’t blame them. Arte Moreno needs to sell the team back to Disney or someone who wants to win, and let them clean up his mess. At this point, my Ducks will win another Stanley Cup in the future before we win another World Series.

@@NMRsports I’ve never looked at minor league guys but I will from now. Still Jose Suarez should be in rotation if they want 6 man rotation or add guys to bullpen. Kenny Rosenberg would be good long bullpen guy he can go 4 innings and Jose Suarez can pitch a full game if he’s feeling it. And Sam blum said angels don’t have a lot of relievers today so you’re right. Shohei needs to play out of his mind tonight

Honestly at this point either go all in and get players you can win now with like Luis Castillo, Brandon Drury, etc. Or sell everything and get as many prospects as possible. The worst thing they can do is do nothing. Knowing the franchise that’s exactly what they’ll do.
