Great show that is etched in my memory until the day i die. We watched as a family every week and it was a beautiful time growing up in the 60s.....

Loved this show. Much much older now, I still love it. Andy reminded me of my dad. Clever, gentle & he says what he means. Always w a bit of humor. I still have my dad. At nearly 100 years old, he hasn't changed a bit ❤

The best! I have the whole collection! Ron Howard, Andy Griffith, Don Knots... nothing better!

After Barney read the poem you notice Andy cover his mouth and turn away to hide the fact he was laughing.

that is pretty funny, what's even funnier is when opie gets thelma lou and andy tells barney that he never should have told opie about his secrets of getting women. it's called `the rivals'.

He could perhaps write individual letters, but I doubt he knew enough to write an entire limerick. There wasn't as much of an academic "push" back then, and many children wouldn't have begun to read and write until at least 6 or 7.

I think Barney is way too sensitive

That could be a very easy case to solve but a hard case to prosecute because the lead witness could have problems in school which may create more episodes :)
