I wonder about all of the materials and how they managed to build so much in such a remote and challenging location, especially without tools or vehicles

Imagine when Nalanda University got burned by Muslim invader it burned for 6 months , how much books it must be contained

So the altitude and cold,nothing soil etc means not much grows in Tibet.They eat mainly barley ,yak butter.They have a practice for eating meat and they don’t eat much of it. Best not to judge others .
