Yeah this guys transformation is no joke. Unicron is way easier. My fingers were red after I got done. Trying to lock all the panels together may seem easy after Unicron, but they feel like they're the perfect distance to just barely reach each other and you have to pull them over to each other. Aside the panels, the legs are easily the worst part. Beside the horrendous transformation, everything else is really good in my opinion.

@@diosoth Well like ToyGuy said, it's something you'd really only transform once in a while just to display it. Also I talked like Unicron was bad when he released cause I saw so many reviews having a hard time with his transformation. I just didn't really see the struggle, but like most things..it gets better the more you do it.

I really want there to be a Primus toy where you can see known locations on the planet mode! Like make it a map and give it a little pice of paper that tells you what the places are. Like the Sea of rust could be a red’ish brown flat spot and the well of all sparks could be a translucent blue hole at some part surrounded by some kinda shiny rainbow texture and Kaon can be like a big city with a Colosseum in it for the gladiator pits! There’s so many possibilities.

@@aidanthehumanmiller9302 I've checked my old Cybertron Primus figure and in planet mode and while most major cities are shaped/placed symmetrically there's a meteor/volcanolo on the front, an extra city on the back, and two yellow buildings and a dark field on the butt plate that stand out. There's no mirroring on any of the pieces either. All the pieces are uniquely detailed including different city layouts in mirrored cities, different patterns on mirrored pannels, and different molds on mirrored spikes.

@@aidanthehumanmiller9302 personally I hope they’ll eventually make one that’s less symmetrical in general, maybe put some large city hubs or different environments in to make it look more natural as a planet (though I do like how they make it look like a lot of Cybertron’s cities and structures are built underground). I’d also like to see aspects of planet mode incorporated more in robot mode (and vice versa, robot mode arms or legs being mountains or gaps between limbs being canyons, Cybertron Prime has it’s arm mounted cannons positioned like thrusters that can move the planet) instead of just crouching inside of a shell. Also I forgot to mention that it’s a triple changer. Turns into a starship.

Reminds me about TFC Liokaiser. Cool, nice in details, but it does take long to transform and assemble, and they put a small screwdriver inside the box to assist. The good thing is it has all details great, and the joints will also be more stable than normal combiner toys. The bad thing is just transformation difficulty. Guess this applies to all super-detailed transformers toys. Though I kinda prefer one design about the old Primus toy, is that it uses a key to assist transformation, which made it much easier. Though that design is due to Unicron Trilogy setting, I kinda hope they could include something like a planet key in subsequent designs for Primus and Unicron. Maybe like a Autobot Matrix, Star Saber, or something else could function like a key?

I really appreciate reviews like this. Like, I'll watch the beautiful, excellently-filmed and edited transformation videos from Color R Touch Toys or Mangmotion, etc.. Those are great for showing off the engineering. Reviews like this show off *what it's like to actually own it.* Being able to see you transform it, how awkward it is to hold, and especially the _sounds_ of the plastic are super-informative. There's been plenty of figures I've gawked at, lovestruck. Then I watch a reviewer actually interact with it and nope the fuck out. *coughalmosteverything fromxtransbotscough*

Man - I wish this was about twice it's size... would be perfect with Haslab Unicron.

Is anyone else bothered by the way the buildings at the "top" of the planet point straight "up", rather than away from the center of the planet like they should? Does this planet not have its own gravity? Was this figure designed by a flat earther who thinks things will fall off the "bottom" of a planet? It just looks wrong, and kinda hurts my immersion in the planet mode.

I would actually like to see a non transforming Cybertron model like from the cartoon, with gouges showing lower levels and such.

I don't like how symmetrical the planet mode is. The original Primus toys planet mode had a nice asymmetrical look with all kinds of references to cities and landmarks. EDIT: Lul never mind, you mentioned it.

I just got this and it's awesome. I transformed it into planet mode and added all the orange bits. Started transforming it back into bot mode and it looked like a mess. My wife was like "What the?!". I asked if she would like to transform it, and her reply was, "I want to smash that into the floor.". 😆

The competence test for new lego master builders is to make a sphere. I feel Hasbro needs to implement the same test for TF engineers.

@DragmaKerp dude we all know this isn't made by hasbro. he's just saying hasbro should make new designers test their mettle by making a transforming ball bot. And frankly I think that would be fun

@@alexandersuschena4776 they techncially did, a huge shellformer. I know the size was the main draw of haslab though
