Amish people have always been very hard workers they live off the land grow their own food usually the women baked breads and pies the men usually does a lot of woodworking there's a place I go to and at Clarksville Tennessee and Guthrie Kentucky state line there's a lot of Amish people that live up there and I go up there and get bread and cakes they have a little restaurant that's open sometime but this young generation of kids we have this day and time needs to go spend about a week with the Amish and they will find out what works all about hard work I highly respect these folks I'll keep doing what you're doing great job

Very interesting, I would guess that Amish farming is a hard life, but rewarding in the beliefs they hold. I spent a week in Lancaster county a few years back and we never went to tour the Amish Farm and Home, now I wish we had. Thanks for sharing so much of it with us, oh and I'm with Bobbi, those corn mazes terrify me, I have such a fear of going in and not being able to find my way out.

I remember going there as a kid i. The 80s and target wasnt there. I cant recall what was there then. We visit the area alot and buy from the amish

You were brave going into the corn maze. I will not go in it. The rest looked fun. I have stopped at that Target quite a few times and knew the farm house was next door. Thanks for showing it to me. Really enjoyed this video.

We had a icebox with the ice man coming almost daily..We had a wringer washer and hung our clothes out. My grandfather ran a blacksmithing shop under our Irish name Quinlivan.

That tour was so informative and entertaining. You two are a great pair. Really well done. We use to live near a Amish community but things weren't open to the public. Learned a lot from your tour. Have never been in a corn maize. May give it a try now.

That was quite interesting. I really appreciated seeing the pictures taken from inside of the house. The rooms were quite sparse. We took the house tour years ago but Target wasn't there then. It just doesn't seem right having a Target so close to an Amish homestead!

That was really interesting. The areas with the flowers were really nice. The goats are always fun to watch, but the goats here were pretty mellow. Usually when I see them, they're jumping around all over the place, on top of each other. Just remember, when you get tired of being Amish...there's always Target. 😆

It’s like a reality time capsule, day’s of olden, very beautiful and captivating it must have a nice feeling not being tied down to the materialistic world of today. Loved this video, all the darling animal’s, the peacock 🦚 wanted out, he wished he could explore and 💭 what fun he’d have. Lol never a corn maze or corn field at night in the pitch black after watching the movie signs. Try it John lol 😂 After seeing this movie I couldn’t even be in a corn field during the day alone let at night nooooo way. Thankyou so much for this video, it’s fantastic.

Where is this one located? On route 30 or do you have to turn off on the road to Strasburg? Children of the Corn freaked me out! I watched it when I was about 17 and home alone. They have a milking cow like that in Dutch Wonderland, or at least they used to. Lol 😂 😎

Big companies should be required to have to build their stores so many miles away from farmland/historical houses! That is just ridiculous! Shame on target! Sometimes I want to move out to the country but it has occurred to me that some company could just buy up all the land next to us and build a hideous factory or something.
