She is as great as Franklin, or any of the great singers. Very underrated. But she will never complain or say that. She just loves and it comes out in her singing. I love her.

Guitar, bass and drums! and she's showing such love and respect for her backing band. No ego, such a wonderful singer and bandleader!!

Was there, She was incredible! I've rarely seen the amazing bond that she had with the audience.

She is so grand. She's up there with the great ones, the difference between her and all the other greats...her ability to bring everyone to a lighter, happier place. She is a institution. I love her. Her selection of this band is fitting for her excellence.

Just saw Mavis live for the first time. Wow! Amazing! 83 years strong!

The gentleman who introduced Mavis is Donny Gerrard, who had a huge hit in the 70’s called Wildflower as the lead singer for Skylark.

You haven't lived until you've seen Mavis live. Her shows are like revivals. I once saw her at a benefit where she did only four songs--including THE WEIGHT and WILL THE CIRCLE BE UNBROKEN. Had we paid ten times what I paid for the tickets and had she done only those two songs....we'd have got our money's worth.

Absolutely love this song I have since I was 12 years heard it on the radio, Mavis has a beautiful soulful voice.

I'm white English and just love black American music. Thanks black America, love from England
