I love these comments. There's always some douch that comments it's the same shit as on the Comedy Central Special when NONE of this material is on the Comedy Central special. 8've done 3 specials for CC and the last one was an hour of new stuff. They make sure nothing is repeated. There's about 2 hours worth of material on KZread alone. so if you see me with a volunteer onstage, don't assume it's the same routine. listen to what I'm saying. Oh yeah, you're a douche too.

Came across The Amazing Johnathan on TV in England and though he was great and refreshingly different. I went on a trip to Vegas and was lucky enough to see him performing live along with his assistant Psychic Tanya and even got picked out by the camera and ripped just before he came on stage. I have never laughed so much, the Amazing Johnathan was so under rated and a hugely talented entertainer. Such a sad loss

Man, Johnathan's stand-up special was one of my favorite shows to watch on Comedy Central in the 90's so the memory of those times led me to checking out the documentary released about his life back in 2019. The trailer hinted at an unusual twist so I watched fully expecting all of what I saw to be another classic Amazing Johnathan ruse that'd reveal itself in the end. It turns out the twist was that he really was addicted to meth and slowly dying from a heart condition. Very strange watch and kind of a bummer for someone who was fond of his work and pulling for him. On the plus side, it seems he was content with his life and he went out on peaceful terms, per news reports.

The man is a genius. Mathametically is does take exactly 7 mins for the force of gravity to viciously counter the strong forces of booger flux and viscosity holding said booger in place.

Carrot Top did not invent that sort of comedy He just copied it from others. Jonathan was that very best at it however . For one thing, Jonathan was a great magician and excelled a slight of hand. All Carrot Top did was to present a never ending series of props ...any fool can do that .

I first saw The Amazing Johnathan on a local PBS station; KQED San Francisco had a show in the early 80's called Comedy Tonight. A DJ from a local Alternative Rock station hosted, and they showed most of the up and coming comedians of the time. I saw Amazing Johnathan, Roseanne Barr, Whoopi Goldberg, Bobcat Goldthwait, and Bruce Baum amongst many others.

I’ve enjoyed his specials since he started to show up on TV 📺 (I’m a 90’s Guy Myself...graduated high school in 1995) I just watched that documentary, and I have to say...it’s REALLY well done. I was in tears at one point...and not from laughter, but from learning about his hardships and relationships. I don’t care how much coke he did backstage, or anything like that. None of those things defined him. His flaws affected him greatly, but what makes him such a cool human being is how genuine he seems to be behind the thin veil of joking and trickery. The movie did a great job of humanizing him. Definitely suggest checking it out.

Don't sweat it Johnathan. Not that it changes the world, but I stop everything to watch whenever I see your on anything. I love the style, the comedy the whole thing. It's unique to you and I know more people that like it than not. Keep it up and if your act ever does start to "get old" or "repeat", I'll be right there to laugh at it again. Thanks for your talent!
