The Amazing Benefits of Black Seed Oil

Black seed oil comes from the plant nigella sativa which means it's a botanical ingredient and by the end of this video I'm hopeful that you will love it just as much as me.
How do we get black seed oil? It starts with the plant nigella sativa which then produces black seeds. Those black seeds are cold pressed to produce black seed oil and the black seed oil contains beneficial ingredients like thymoquinone, p-cymene, carvacrol, and free fatty acids. These compounds are thought to be the reason that black seed oil is so healthy.
We know that black seed oil was used anciently to treat conditions like:
Astha, fever, bronchitis, cough, congestion, dizziness, paralysis, headaches, back pain, and inflammation
Today we have the advantage of science and research which have confirmed many of these benefits (and more) including:
Antidiabetic, antitussive, anticancer, antioxidant, hepatoprotective, neuro-protective, gastroprotective, immunomodulator, analgesic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic, and bronchodilator activity.
In addition to these many benefits black seed oil also has a pro thyroid benefit (especially for those with Hashimoto's) and may even help with weight loss and fat loss.
How you use black seed oil depends on what conditions you are trying to treat.
If you are using it for general health then the recommended dose is 500 mg per day.
If you are using it to treat a specific condition then the dose is 1,000 mg per day.
For acute issues, higher doses can be used, especially when treating infections.

Great video. I buy this (organic-Cold Pressed) by the Jar. I also have a bag of the seeds themselves to sprinkle on salad and maybe grind some up. It has benefits purportedly for Cancer as well. Can help the Liver. I take approx 1 tsp per day. Love the taste but some may not and you could mix it in with a healthy dressing in a salad.

I just started taking it 3rd day in. I’m starting out only with 1 teaspoon at night. After a week I will start taking 1 teaspoon also in the morning. That’s it. I noticed my Acid reflux has stopped, and my breathing at night is good. Usually I cough as I am sleeping, probably from acid reflux. But so far so good. It’s not really bad tasting, I put it in some tart cherry juice along with my vitamins.

Just a correction though: Muslim scholars have understood the statement of Prophet Muhammad to mean that there is an element of cure in black seeds for the diseases that it should be taken for. It's was not understood as an absolute literalistic statement, which is due to the meaning of the original Arabic rather than the English translation.
