The ALMIGHTY !!! This is Rock n Roll !!! 👍🤘
I saw these back when they were promoting the album. They were the support act for Alice Cooper at Birmingham. I didn’t know too much about them then. But was blown away straight from the off. This track was the stand out that night. I think even Alice Cooper with his stage show, only just topped them. Funny thing was. That evening we met a girl who asked to travel down with us, because she was on her own. We agreed. And afterwards her dad met her on the train coming back. He thanked us and we went out for a drink. That resulted in me meeting my wife. Was it a blessing or a sin. I still ask myself 🙂 thx for the memories.
What a day, i was the guy underneath the girl flashing in the video...................proper music fest!!
bloody hell i was front row ! how old are we now 🤟🏻🍺🤟🏻🍺🤟🏻🍺🤟🏻🍺🤟🏻🍺🤟🏻🍺🤟🏻

Yeah I did 91-93 front and centre at some point, 52 now and still doing 20 gigs and 3 festivals a year.😂
Backup to megadeth in glasgow , Free n easy came on , Best song all night , Best song ever #!!!!!!
Met Ricky Warwick in the foyer at Newport Centre 30/11/1990 when The Almighty supported Motorhead. A standup guy who took time to chat and thank us bunch of 17-year-olds for coming.
The hairs on the back of my neck stood on end when they came on. A great day and a great MOR!
This was my first introduction to the Almighty. They didn't have it easy that day, being first on the bill, and the fact that the wind kept carrying their sound away and depositing it halfway across the county. Despite those setbacks however, they still delivered.
The first CD I ever bought back in my early teens was a limited edition version of 'Powertrippin' with this on a 'live at Donnington' bonus CD :-)

old good times... I wanna 90´ back, the best metal era for me...
Donington was live on the radio back in the day. Ricky's swearing live on the radio put paid to anymore MOR being aired live. Nice one!

All bands inc: The Almighty, Thunder, W.A.S.P, Slayer and Skid Row had a 5 minute delay to allow for editing before been broadcast on BBC Radio 1 apart from Iron Maiden, I still have the original recordings on cassette tape and Bruce Dickinson said 'if anybody sweared that day it wasnt broadcast live' and that they were the only band going out 100% live that day 👍

@@OldskoolRocker74 Cool. My recollection is, I was listening to The Almighty in my car, swearing was aired and the presenter at the end apologised for the bad language. Live or edited, the bad language was left in. That's how I remember it all these years later.
Yeah I Believe in Love,Peace,Freedom and Art !!! Salud y Vida Pa'lante !!! Cheers and Life On !!!
You guys are lucky who been there live.I saw this concert on TV Headbangers ball.I didnt know them, became fan rightaway
Mandei vir de França uma k7, ao Ping, um amigo, este som que curtia à larga. Depois fiquei a adorar esta banda.
yeahhhhh!! I remember listening to this on the radio in bed.. I was 12... Fuck that is AWESOME to watch :) brings back so many memories and the Powertrippin' CD, with this gig as the bonus CD, is still one of my favourites. Classics never die... "Does fuck offend you? noooo.. me neither!

Turning it up in 2020!!
I was there too. brilliant weekend. they should have kept the monsters of rock name instead of changing it to download. I remember Seb Bach telling the rain to fuck off..... and it did!
i was at this donnington too brings back happy memories :)
Yep remember that gig me and friends from Goodwick and Fishguard ✌️
I love how they look like a thrash metal band or something even heavier like slayer but they were more 80s hard rock

My 1st ever Donington, not 1shite performance, great day. 👌
👍👍
i only could watch it in Germany TV at MTV Headbangers ball, all people who were live there are lucky ones
I was there!! Maiden headlined that day,Adrian smith came on!!
I was there back stage with the VIP crew. These guys rocked and he's voice was way before the Metallica crew had enter the sandman hit.. Ricky Warwick had that gravel voice that reached deep inside and threw you around the room like you had been bitten by a metal crazy T Rex. I can't get the album anywhere. its not on iTunes or Amazon. wish I still had my old copy. These guys where so cool to hang out with and I thought it was bad news when they broke up .. Great times back then.
I still have this taped off of Radio 1 on the day. Used to play it to death back before MP3s

@BBEVROCK i was there also. I agree..from when they were introduced "The almight...the almight...The Alfuckinmighty.".it was pure 100% balls out metal. Made my day. The only downside was the records given away by Kerrang getting thrown lol.
WHO THE FU*K IS THIS??? And how am I just hearing this? This is really good! I'll be looking up more of this I do believe.
💎
My dad found an old vinyl with these. Since we don't have a vinyl player this'll do I guess.
