Ive been using these rods for a couple of years now. Absolutely no complaint. light, strong and no issue with saltwater. Use them for bass from light weight to heavy. Best value I've found for the money. Have more expensive rods that I don't like as well as this one.

GreenGhostMan yes I have, fishes great, balances well with my shimano core which is 6.2 ounces. Has a nice soft tip that loads up well, it's a medium fast tip. I can only speak of this model though. Going to get the heavy power soon since I like this one so much.

all of my rods but one are falcon. Either hd or boo-coos and i haven't had the first complaint with them. the guides hold up well and they are nice and light. Now are they as sensitive as my all pro Hercules? Nope but they are still one of the best in the 100 dollar price point.

Just LUV how people talk down about gear due to being ( cheap>>$100) Comical...oh, and its made in China, so it automatically sucks....Obtuse. I dont own this rod but Im buying a few. And I will be using them in the Costa series next year, God willing. PEOPLE...most ALL rods are made with parts, blanks, guides, grips, etc., that come from CHINA, Indonesia, Russia, etc. Stop being so hung up on these "labels" I fished for years and years out of the Walmart tacklebox and have won and top 5`d many many tournaments using these exact items. The fish dont care what rod you are using and other than a difference of about 2%, there are practically little to no differences in rods between 100-400 bucks when it comes right down to it. Maybe a few ounces. Look, to each his own, but dont waste your money, and dont buy in to the cheap means sucks thing because catching fish boils down to how well you can fish, NOT how much money you spend.

Falcon makes great rods but why in the world would they or anyone else put light gray grips on a rod?? They are obviously going to get dirty very quick which obviously doesn't affect performance but common man it just seems like a stupid decision. The Dobyn's Fury, Powell Inferno, Bass pro Carbonlite and few others are at the top of the list. Lew's rods are one of the most overlooked IMO. I bought my first Duckett rod being the new Triad series and for $130 its so far surprisingly amazing for the price. Guide alignment isnt perfect on it but good and has 3 year warranty. Time will tell but i have several $100-$200 rods and the Triad reigns supreme. Good luck on the water this year

Adam S Couldn't agree with you more on the grips. I don't own enough 100 dollar rods to say which is the best but I think the competition among companies is good because it allows the angler especially the budget minded angler to get a good rod at a good price. Thanks for your input and hope you slay em this year!

So is ur new Falcon Bucoo SR pretty sensitive for being a $100 rod?? Sensitivity seems to be the main concern with any rod these days and its great to feel everything when fishing the bottom but I see alot of ppl never watching their line which is a big mistake among fisherman. Ive painlessly taught myself & into the habit of watching my line as soon as my lure hits the water

Sorry, I'm just seeing this, yeah it's pretty sensitive for the price point. I mean if all you use is $400 rods and then use this, you might be disappointed, but I've got several $300 rods, and I still enjoy using this rod.

For a Chinese rod they are too notch, but I prefer the Jason Christie Falcons, the JC are made in the USA...so are the bucoo micro guides...the nice thing, they float, dropped one in the lake lews reel and all floated like Styrofoam!
