    This is a pocketable emulation station. We have WiFi and Bluetooth as well as HDMI!, you can easily connect 4 Bluetooth controllers and play any game, even on 16:9. I don't understand why not one of the big retro emulation KZreadrs have gone through this angle. You can have retroachievements, you can play any 16:9 game from the PSP or dreamcast with buddies. The unique value proposition of this... instead of buying retropi setups, just buy this and you have a console that has EVERYTHING you need. No need for a case, as it's clamshell. It's small enough to be pocketable, bit enough once opened. Has close-lid suspend mode! This is a DREAM.

    So far, the best DS-like device for emulating is the Surface Duo. I had the first model, and it was good for ds, but not for 3ds. Some games worked, but most didn't.

    Imo its best to use controller+phone in vertical mode to emulate that. Or just buy a 2ds xl or something used. So rg35xxsomething + 2ds xl + rog ally for everything newer (like ps2 or switch) would be a complete package. Not that i have that much time to play lol. I'll just stick to 35xxsp, at least it's cheap lol.

  • @ben66562

    @ben66562

    15 күн бұрын

    I feel like the "analog sticks" will have to sit pretty flush with the screen because of the clamshell design and not have much range of movement. That along with it being vertical and assuming that it keeps similar dimensions to the sp I just can't picture being very comfortable or practical to use and will just give it a more cluttered look overall. I think anbernic picked the smarter way to do it. It keeps the simplicity and nostalgia of the old SP. I won't be heartbroken if I can't use it to play "Ape Escape". I'll stick to what the form factor works best for. 8 and 16 bit systems, with a smattering of those higher end ones.

    @@ben66562 yep and the Miyoo A30 can barely run those systems anyways. If i wanna play a game that requires analog sticks I'll use actual nice analog sticks on a nice screen. For me extra processing power just means you can go crazy with shaders

    Dropping a random piece of copper or aluminum in there is simply gonna spread out the heat underneath the battery and make it bulge more evenly. You need to move the heat away from the battery not distributed evenly underneath the battery.

  • @Augrills

    @Augrills

    12 күн бұрын

    Only issue I see with that is you’re going to have that heat laying more directly on battery and even less of an air gap. Even if it does disperse it better. I’d like to see tests on it with and without before I made that change myself.

    Its quite funny to me hearing the disappointment at dome switches because im the opposite, rubber conductive buttons would have been a deal breaker. Those switches look very similar to the sp's which is one of my favorite dpads. In fact the original gba has in my opinion one of the worst dpads ever while the sp ranks pretty high for me. Both tops the vita dpad though
