The ALL-NEW 2025 Honda HR-V Revealed - Greater Than Toyota Corolla Cross?
2025 already seems like a very promising year for the world of automobiles. Every automaker is bringing something new to the market as the car market keeps growing. On the other hand, they are also updating the current versions, making them even better. For Honda, they have decided to make the Honda HR-V better by changing up a few things. If what they have released is to be believed, the 2025 Honda HR-V will be a pretty fantastic car, bringing about some new visual and powertrain updates. But what exactly can we expect from Honda? Let’s find out, shall we?
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to our channel. Today, we will look at the 2025 Honda HR-V to learn what is new with it. But before we continue, make sure you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing updates on your favorite cars. And with that, let’s learn more about the 2025 Honda HR-V.
The Honda HR-V is receiving an upgrade. But for those of you who are a bit confused, this is the same as the Honda Vezel, which is the name it goes by in the Japanese market. Over the past few years, it has gone through several upgrades, always improving with each iteration. As a result, it has gained the love of many drivers who are looking for a reliable crossover.
Even with some of these upgrades, the 2025 Honda HR-V will still be pretty recognizable. However, when you compare it directly with its predecessor, you will notice a few changes here and there. The first difference is the new front bumper and the revised LED graphics on the taillights. Let’s just say that the automaker was looking for a more modern look here.
The most notable change in the 2025 Honda HR-V is the redesigned grille, which adopts a squared-off shape and looks slightly narrower. To make it even better looking, Honda also tweaked the dynamic lines above the bumper intakes, alongside the horizontal elements inside the full-LED taillights.
Some of these changes have gone on in the interior, but the interior doesn’t have that many changes. First of all, the 2025 Honda HR-V has retained the same 7-inch digital instrument cluster and 9-inch infotainment system, just as it was in its predecessor. That is quite expected, given that they were not doing a complete overhaul. This also means that all the features that were there before are still the same.
One of the most significant changes for the 2025 Honda HR-V is the new trim introduced by the automaker. Honda is bringing a new “Hunt Package,” which will be based on the entry-level e:HEV X trim. This new trim will get a new design, making it stand out entirely from the other trims.
Owners and buyers of this car will get the chance to further enhance the aesthetics and practicality of the 2025 HR-V. This is all thanks to the wide range of genuine accessories, most of which are to die for. To make it easier to select, Honda organized them into four recommended styles, which are urban, sports, casual, and active. So, depending on what exactly you are looking for, you can customize your car through these.
As a result of this, the updated 2025 HR-V will still have the same powertrain as its predecessor. Since its launch, the current HR-V’s main engine has been a 2.0-liter I-4 engine capable of producing about 158 horsepower. This powertrain has always been coupled with a CVT automatic.
Furthermore, you can expect to see the same fuel-efficient specs as the Honda HR-V in the 2025 model.
Most of the improvements on the 2025 Honda HR-V are just meant to improve it, with more focus on the driving experience. Now, the 2025 Honda HR-V will offer a rather better driving experience compared to its predecessor. With that, the market launch of the 2025 Honda HR-V in Japan, which goes by the name of Honda Vezel, is expected to be sometime in April 2024. With that, it is safe to assume that we will be seeing the EU-spec Honda HR-V around the same time or just a few months apart from this one.
The 2025 Honda HR-V is quite promising. And even with the few design upgrades, it is practically the same vehicle. And even though people claim that it is a bit slower than usual, it is still a rather practical and efficient car, one that is better suited for everyday use. The design is also wonderful, making it stand out. And since it is still due for a full overhaul, let’s just wait and see what else it will offer.
What do you think of the 2025 Honda HR-V? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. And before you go, make sure you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing updates on your favorite cars.
Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next one!

FIX THE POWER!! Duh!! Damn, more plastic, is their answer? 132 -138 ft torque, for 3300+ lbs of car? 11 + seconds, 60 mph?

Very confusing. I haven’t got to the end, but the European HRV/Vezel is nothing to do with the American car. The US HRV is built on the Civic platform while the European one is built on the Fit platform, and consequently has the magic seats but also a smaller engine with a hybrid power train. The American HRV is sold in Europe but here it is a hybrid car and has a different name. I think Honda’s naming is confusing and this is exacerbated by the way so many news feeds muddle the cars up.

What about the CRV? We need some changes on it. Like, larger info screen. Ventilated seats. Run flat tires on the Hybrid since there is no spare tire!

Agreed.. the thing is a dog and the interior is spartan at best. Put in a hybrid powertrain as already exists in other markets. Better mileage and better performance than the slug we have in n. America honda already has the powertrains...just stick one in

Totally agree! I had one and got rid of it because the lack of power began to feel like a safety issue to me. If a driving circumstance required me to get out of way quickly, such a getaway might have been questionable at best. I don’t need a 5-second 0-60 out of this kind of car, but need it to be able to get out of its own way.
